- Rila Monastery - The Monastery of Saint Ivan of Rila, commonly known as the Rila Monastery, stands as the largest and most renowned Eastern Orthodox monastery in Bulgaria. Established in the 10th century, it is considered one of Bulgaria’s most significant cultural, historical, and architectural landmarks, attracting both local and international tourists. The current location was established in the 14th century, with the oldest structures, such as the Tower of Hrelyu (1334–1335) and an adjacent small church (1343), dating back to this era. However, the late 14th-century Ottoman arrival led to several raids and the monastery’s destruction in the mid-15th century. Recognized as a stunning example of Bulgarian National Revival architecture, the monastery complex was designated a national historical monument in 1976 and was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983.
- Rila - Rila National Park boasts the highest and most picturesque mountain on the Balkan Peninsula, featuring the 2925-meter-high Musala peak, along with stunning forests, rivers, waterfalls, and meadows.
- Aqua Club Kotvata & Restaurant Kotvata - The Kotvata Thermal Spa Complex provides exceptional hot mineral water in various indoor and outdoor pools. Visitors can relax, rejuvenate, and enjoy a beer, regardless of the season. The indoor thermal pool is more affordable and warmer for winter, while the outdoor pools offer varying temperatures, making them ideal for both summer and winter months.
