Great guided trip - The tour was very enjoyable and both my wife and I were glad that we went on the tour. The minibus was very comfortable and the driving 1st class. The commentary was very informative and the stops well thought out. We were given sufficient time at each stop as well as the relevant information to ensure we maximised our time efficiently.
The new stop at the church tower was very good as it gave lovely views across the town of Jelgava followed by a very delicious and filling lunch.

Lithuania Hill of Crosses - Normand’s was prompt, very likable and catered to our requests. He gave us as much time for pictures and sightseeing as we wanted.
He was knowledgeable and gave us good and useful information without talking all the time.

Enjoyable tour, well organised - We enjoyed a very entertaining trip with Janis, our guide. The drive from Riga to the HoC by bus was comfortable and did not feel long or boring: we had two stops on the way and each segment was relatively short. Janis speaks excellent English and has a nice "dry" humour which made the trip really entertaining. The HoC is a highlight well worth to be visited. We had enough time to explore this in detail and take plenty of pictures.
The return was again nicely organised and segmented into short trips. Lunch in Jelgava in a nice, picturesque restaurant at the eigth floor of a former Church tower was unique, the food was very good, the atmosphere great. And the beer cold and tasty.
All in all a very recommendable tour! Very enjoyable!

Great day trip from Riga - Our tour to the Hill of Crosses and Jelgava was fantastic. Communication was super clear ahead of the day and we got to do everything in the itinerary.
Our guide, Maris, was very personable and knowledgeable. He introduced us to the history of Latvia and Lithuania, as well as how things have changed across the last half-century. He had a good sense of humour and managed to weave his own experiences and those of his family members seemlessly into his explanations. Maris was really responsive to questions and was keen to let our own curiosities and interests lead his anecdotes. He was also very knowledgeable about Jelgava and the Hill of Crosses, which enhanced the experience. One of the best guides we've had in our recent travels.
The Hill of Crosses was moving and Jelgava was very pretty. We went on a Monday, so a few things were closed (St Trinity tower in Jelgava & a market closer to Riga), but we very much feel like we got our money's worth. We would recommend this trip.

Excursion to do - The visit of this place, even if it stays far enough from Riga is to be made. The place is quite impressive and unique. All with the snow falling it gave an even more special note.

Great day out - Was a great day out, cold but great. Our guide Erlens was equal parts knowledgeable and friendly. He made sure everyone was included in every activity. Our driver, whose name escapes me, was a very safe and careful driver. A very interesting and informative day

Great day out - I enjoyed this day out. The bus was comfortable and departed from convenient location. Our tour guide, Victoria, was very friendly, funny, and informative. The hill of crosses was very interesting, although I think it is probably more compelling for those that are religious. The place that was chosen for lunch was amazing. The food was delicious and it was very cheap. All in all an enjoyable day out.
