A wonderful introduction on wheels to Riga - This was an excellent bike tour by Frank at bicycletours.lv. Frank, who is Dutch and a Riga resident, had a great perspective on life in the city and its complex history. We especially enjoyed his insights into Latvia’s support of Ukraine and its satisfying needling of Putin. Because we were on bikes, we were able to travel the city widely, even across the river. We booked ebikes, which we enjoyed and seemed to make the cobblestones easier as we moved at a good pace (tho regular bikes are fine, we are older and love them). We saw neighborhoods we never would have visited without this well-designed tour. Frank was kind enough to tell us that the tour can run a bit longer than advertised and asked us if we had time constraints. The four of us on the tour were very happy that the experience lasted an extra half hour. Well done!

Good Tour - A good tour to get a look at Riga from outside the Old Town. It included a break at a local market for refreshments. Guide was good in explaining the significance of the areas we visited.

Two and a half hours well spent - Great informative tour with Inga. Her knowledge on past and present Riga was great. Whilst we only had a small group of 6 , she made sure everyone was together and safe. The inclement weather did not deter anyone with ponchos provided for everyone, which in the end were not needed.

Fun way to see the city and learn about its history and culture - Great bike tour, we went all around the city, and really saw a lot in the 2.5 hours. Our guide was great, very knowledgeable and enjoyable, and his English was very good. I really liked the earpiece so that we could ride our bikes while hearing him point out places and share bits of information, in between the stops we made. I also liked that he didn’t go too slow on the bikes, so we could actually enjoy riding a bike. I definitely recommend this tour!

Nice experience - Our guide, Inga, was very nice and knowledgeable. She showed us some spots that most tourists would not see, because the are just a little outside the city centre. Cycling in Riga felt very safe. Cycling is allowed on the wide sidewalks and cars are careful and polite towards cyclists.

Interesting cycle your. Very informative 😊 x - The trip was informative & fun. Great guide who did her best to keep us all together & deliver information. My only criticism is I think the group was too big & sometimes the comms on the listening device cut out or crackled.if it wasn’t for this, it would have been 5 stars from me. It was still fun, just too many people on my ride!
