Highly recommend! - RECOMMEND! It was exactly as promised. A comfortable, small-group drive through the lush green countryside of Latvia and Lithuania; an interesting backgrounder and history lesson upon arrival; a solemn and sobering pilgrimage through the site to the monastery; a border stop for pictures; a slow drive through Jelgava with its Soviet style architecture and a stop at its ornate Orthodox Church with more historic commentary. We had a full day but not an exhausting one and there was still plenty of time for more sightseeing in Riga!

Kind staff, comfortable onboard - Kind staff, comfortable in the car.
Thomas, our driver and guide, was easy to talk to and helpful. It was very helpful for me to provide information other than sightseeing while I was traveling. I also went to Lido, the self-service restaurant he recommended. I liked it and went there a few times. Staff who communicated with you prior to your booking (unknown because you didn't get their name. representative perhaps) are also kind and well satisfied. It takes too much time and effort to get to Cross Hill on your own. I usually like to go sightseeing on my own, but I got the right answer when I joined the tour.

Crosses and Countryside - Very nice trip through the Latvia and Lithuania countryside in a comfortable van. Stops at the border and at a beautiful refurbished Orthodox church with the main destination the Hill of Crosses. Spend one hour at the hill walking around on your own and can place your own cross. Over 500,000 crosses!!

Interesting history with friendly guides - A great day trip from Riga. Our guides Paul and Tom were very friendly and informative. It was interesting to learn the history behind the origins of the Hill of the Crosses. Also, the little dog who joined us was lovely. Overall, would highly recommend.

Highly recommend - A "must" experience from Riga to see the Hill of Crosses. Relaxing comfortable ride with extras along the way. It was a pleasure to have Paul as our guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and adaptable.

Fantastic day out - The host (Paul) was amazing and made it a fun and factual interesting trip. You get an hour at the crosses, which is plenty of time to go around it all and take unique photos. We would highly recommend if visiting Riga.
