Embark on a one-of-a-kind ski touring expedition in Ridder for an unforgettable deep snow ride through the forest! Embrace the wonders of Kazakhstan, a country that offers fresh experiences, uncharted destinations, and a distinct culture for skiing enthusiasts. We present the opportunity for you to ski through the Altai Mountains, a majestic range that spans across four countries: Russia, China, Mongolia, and Kazakhstan.
Our journey commences from Ust-Kamenogorsk (also known as Oskemen in Kazakh), the seat of East Kazakhstan Region. From there, we venture toward Ridder, the key entry point to the north and west of Kazakhstan’s Altai region.
As part of the 6-day itinerary, we arrange for your stay at a welcoming, heated lodge nestled in the Altai woodlands. It’s worth noting: single/double room options won’t be present during this tour. The lodge is equipped with a stove for heating, ensuring comforting warmth even amidst the freezing temperatures. Adjacent to our lodge is a Banya (a traditional Russian bathhouse). It grants you the opportunity to perceive the contrast between a Russian banya and a Scandinavian sauna.
