Great holiday in Curacao - This was our 3rd time on Curacao but it went very well again.
Here you can relax!
This time we were in the heart of Willemstad, on Pietermaai.
We stayed at the Scuba Lodge and we liked it just fine. Nice and spacious apartment, nice staff, we were well helped and our stay was super. Didn't feel like going home after two weeks.
You are within walking distance of Punda and Otrabanda. From here, a lot can be done very well on foot. Had rented a car because we also had a lot planned on the island. Have seen a lot again, including the Slave Museum, Caves of Hato, Hofi Mango, Tugboat Beach, climbing Christoffelberg, Country House Chobolobo (nice liqueur), actually too much to mention.

Busy Symi, Decent Boat, LOVELY St Georges BAy - We did this trip as a family with my 13 yr old son. The boat journey to Symi was quick and enjoyable although getting on an already busy boat at Rhodes Town meant there wasn't much space to grab seats together. Symi got very busy with multiple boats docking so watch out for that!
The return journey we did better and got top deck seats offering a decent view across the sea.
St Georges Bay is simply beautiful. Crystal clear waters which are great to swim in. Pool noodles are given and you can jump off the front or back of the boat. The only downside here is it doesn't seem long enough before you're back on board and heading back to port.
I would recommend a water-camera for St Georges Bay, and see if you can see the roaming goats too!

Just book it! - What an amazing day! Bus picked us up outside the hotel promptly was a great journey and got to see plenty of the island. Tip sit at the front and get off first to get the best seats on the boat. We got on the boat and got given rain ponchos Incase. Did our swim a few children had jellyfish stings but they used some ointment on them which was great. Symi was incredible worth every penny for me I think 2.5 hours would be enough but we still enjoyed it had a good wonder around and had lunch in a lovely cafe €4 for gyros! On the way back was a storm we weren’t under cover and deffo needed the rain ponchos but we laughed and screamed the whole way back as we bumped up and down fab day out! My kids thought the storm was the best part. Only thing they could improve on would be to perhaps point out Turkey etc as we went past other than that just amazing!

Beautiful day to Symi - Loved our day to Symi! The swim in St. George’s Bay was thrilling . . . a bit windy and the boat had difficulty staying put, but the water and setting was beautiful.

Bit unfortunately the starched not cleared to water from the canopy to whe boat set off we both got drenched by this.
Staff gave out fleeces for those that were cold ,thought this was a good touch .
Hour to Symi wher we stopped for 3 hours .
Very picturesque town with shops and restaurants
Back on the boat to st George's bay ut unfortunately it start to rain so this was cut short
Hour trip back to Rhodes town then transfer to boat to Kolymbia

Fabulous trip - I booked this for my mum who has always wanted to go she’s 85 with mobility issues
I emailed about being able to take her and could they accommodate a rolator
Bev was very comprehensive explaining everything so I booked it.
We got picked up from Vlycha beach and boarded a boat which dropped everyone off at Rhodes town and those going to symi transferred straight away onto a larger vessel
I cannot thank the team enough for their kindness and consideration for my mum assisting her without being asked
We had a fantastic 3 hrs in symi
My only advise is if going in October definitely take extra layers as it was very windy thankfully the crew had extra fleeces to give to anyone who was cold
Honestly made a very memorable trip for us and would recommend to anyone.

Impersonal but but practical - I was surprised at how large the boat was and impersonal. Staff were rushed and stressed out. You couldn't stand up the entire ride and you can't see anything if you sit on the main deck near the bathrooms. I felt that a smaller boat with a nicer crew would have been more interesting for us even though it would have taken longer. I wouldn't do this again. But it ran on time, they gave out fleeces for the cold, it was safe and fast.

Symi is worth a trip - I would not recommend this if you get travel sick.
The journey out was very bumpy and felt a bit chaotic.
Communication not great
However…
Symi is very pretty and worth the visit and this is the faster boat.
And journey back much calmer so maybe we just got unlucky outward bound.

Bad host - No longer welcome because we wore perfume. The Mr. Lind doesn't want to receive us anymore because of the perfume. On departure the cottage left clean
Vacuum cleaner, sanitary suds. Was put together, but that was not enough.
