Our diverse team of instructors will make sure this becomes the highlight of your vacation. Diving is accessible to nearly everyone, and you’ll be amazed at how simple it is. Following an enjoyable and straightforward theory session, you’ll soon be exploring our incredible underwater world. The Waterhoppers’ Try Dive program is offered at our dive locations in Kalithea (full day), Kolymbia, or Pefkos (half day). During your initial dive, you’ll be photographed, with the option to purchase your pictures.

If you have always wanted to dive here is your chance. Discover the wonders of the underwater world with our Try Dive program. Our international team of Instructors will ensure that this is the highlight of your holiday. Almost anyone can enjoy diving, you will be surprised by just how easy it is. After a simple and fun theory lesson you will soon be gliding through our amazing underwater world. The Try Dive program is available at our dive sites of
Kalithea (full day)
Kolymbia or Pefkos (half day)
During your first dive you will be photographed and will have the option to purchase your photographs. Divers in Kalithea will also be filmed and will be able to purchase a dvd of their first dive. Discover the world of scuba diving and explore the crystal clear waters of the Aegean through a unique underwater experience.
- Please wear comfortable shoes and a hat
- Please bring a swimsuit, towel and sunscreen
- Minimum age is 8 years
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Please notice that extra charges may apply per person or in total of the group for pick-ups from hotels- villas- airbnb outside the proximity of our tour selected pick route. In that case we can provide round trip transfer for customer(s) convenience ad-hoc quoted as per location of customer(s)’ property.
- A medical questionnaire must be completed and will be reviewed by our doctor prior to diving.
- Please be aware you should leave a minimum of 18 hours after diving before flying.
- Persons who are epileptic, pregnant or who recently had a lung or chest surgery for their own safety are not allowed to dive.
- We can offer the program from Hotels located at the south area of the island but with the following conditions: Duration of the activity is half day , activity is operated by the beach dive and not by the boat.
- Not recommended for epileptic travelers

Fantastic dive and support - Absolutely amazing
I had a panic attack once in the water
To scuba the whole crew set about settling me and getting me back in the water.
It ended with me getting my confidence back and have the most amazing dive

Amazing day out - Best day of the holiday. I would definitely recommend the two dives they are done the same day because once you've done your first dive you definitely want to do another. Staff are amazing and so friendly.

Amazing experience! - I was lucky enough to book my first dive with Tony and his crew! It was an amazing experience, everything was organized perfectly, even with the difficult times of corona, everything was prepared for such situation. Tony picked me up from my hotel right on time. Everything was explained before we started diving. I was so satisfied with the experience that I upgraded to a 2nd dive. Totally worth it and recommended!

Great Scuba trip for Adventurous Family - We are a family of 5 with 8,10,& 11 year old children. The Water Hopper scuba team assigned experienced diver for EACH child. We had such a great time, that we booked a 2nd dive. Recommendation: Families need to bring food for lunch and snacks.

A great trip! The crew are... - <p>A great trip! The crew are incredibly well prepared and organized, from hotel pick up through to return. You don't have to do anything but breathe! The training was perfect for a first time diver and the diving crew looks after everything, from gear fitting to buoyancy control while you're in the water. They even had a doctor on board prior to sailing to review passengers' release records. This is a safe, inexpensive way to test out scuba diving and was definitely a fabulous way to spend a day on the water in Rhodes. The snorkel only option is also offered for those who don't want to dive.</p>

Fantastic from start to finish. Well... - <p>Fantastic from start to finish. Well organised and very professional. I would recommend this trip to anyone.<br/>
I have dived before so this was just a trip for me, however I took my wife along and she was so scared she cried most of the way to the bay where you dive. She agreed to give it a go but I knew how afraid my wife was so did not hold much hope of her going under water. During the initial training my was wife was placed with a English lady that spoke so gently to my wife and assured her it was safe that my wife actually calmed down and agreed to go under the water. The lady instructor also made sure that a diver her husband held on to her all the way and was there to reassure her at all times.<br/>
I cannot thank the whole team enough especially the two mentioned for making this trip such a pleasurable one.<br/>
My wife has even said if we return again she would give it another go.</p>
<p>I recommend this tour for anyone at any age or level.</p>

This is a good place to get a dive in... - <p>This is a good place to get a dive in from a cruise ship or hotel. They provide pick up and return service. I made a two tank dive and only carried my mask and booties along for the trip. They picked me up at the cruise ship terminal and returned me on time for my departure. Good dive and helpful staff. Their equipment was great and dive masters knowledgeable. Sorry no pictures. I did not take a camera or phone for the dive.</p>
