Good - The listening experience was beautiful and spiritually calm, with a special thanks to the girl who treated me with sophistication and understanding and gently postponed my ticket. But the performance lasted only 35 minutes, which is short for a spiritual experience of this depth and could have been deeper if longer The Sema ceremony was a calm and spiritual experience. Special thanks to the kind young woman who treated me with great professionalism and kindly rescheduled my ticket. However, the performance lasted only 35 minutes, which felt too short for such a meaningful and profound spiritual experience.

Smooth experience, good performance - We chose to go by ourselves. The communication came shortly after our reservation and everything was smooth. We ran a bit late to the venue but got in without any issues. The performance (more like a ceremony) was tranquil and sacred. I’d recommend this to anyone who wants to experience sema.

Great experience - What a privilege to be allowed to observe this sacred ceremony. The venue is small, so the experience is intimate and impactful. Highly recommend!

Misunderstanding - The ceremony was well worth attending. I've read where it's more authentic than the "ceremonies" in Istanbul. If you miss this event, you are missing a big part of the joy of visiting Cappadocia.

10/10! Beautiful ceremony - Such an important cultural experience to have while in turkey. This tour was the perfect amount of time for my husband and I. Seeing whirling dervishes was at the top of my list for this visit and this performance did not disappoint. I was able to read all about the ceremony in the pamphlet before-hand and it was beautiful to connect what I read to what I watched. The company was super accommodating to my husband and I when we missed the ceremony the day before due to my bad directions 😵‍💫 Would and will recommend this tour to anyone coming to cappadocia.

The location is outside... - The location is outside Gerome, where most tourists reside, so if you're not with a tour company, you would need a taxi to get to this location. The Dervish ceremony was excellent. Don't expect much from the sample Turkish drink, ‘Serbet’. It was rather an afterthought of the evening.

Slow and slower - The dance is basically only twirling and walking as slow as humanly possible. It really is a 10 minute experience drawn out to one hour.
