Don't get conned by carpet salesmen! - Our guide was great BUT this tour is way to expensive at nearly $100AUD per person and the stops are not as long as stated. All the "excluded" entrance fees were super expensive; the Goreme open air museum in particular. We were only there 30 minutes. What was THE most annoying part of the day was the time wasted at a carpet showroom which is not stated in the itinerary. The presentation and explanation of carpet making was interesting but we were all then pressured and harrassed by a group of salesmen. I have never experienced anything like this in my life and we and others couldn't wait to get out of here (Yuksel Carpet). This took valuable time away from the sights we were supposed to see and no one would agree to a proposed stop at a silver showroom after this experience. Others on the tour also complained about this and the added cost of the entry to the guide who looked uncomfortable. Lunch was in a great restaurant with choices.
