Both paths offer natural trails and a stunning backdrop for horseback riding, allowing participants to connect with the friendly Icelandic horse. The total tour duration is 2.5 hours, with 1.5-2 hours of riding time. Suitable for both beginners and experienced riders. NOTE: Pickup is available only from hotels, guesthouses, and the BSI Bus Terminal in Reykjavik.

Safe and enjoyable experience - This was a great experience! The guides were very kind and helpful. The horses were well trained and cared for. They provided all the gear we needed to ride and kept us all safe as totally inexperienced riders.

Horse Tour - Everything went so smoothly and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Riding the horses was an amazing experience and the scenery made it even better. The length of the tour was longer than expected, absolutely recommend.

Amazing Memorable Experience - Absolutely phenomenal tour! The three young women who ran the day were professional, friendly, helpful and skilled. The horses were well trained and patient with all of us inexperienced riders. We felt very safe and in good hands. We had a generous amount of time on the trails. And the red lava scenery was amazing,……like out of a movie. This was my most memorable excursion on the trip…..and I’ve had many wonderful excursions to compare it to.

Very friendly and helpful... - Very friendly and helpful staff! Beginner friendly as well. Would recommend! The horses were very sweet and well behaved for the most part (wanted to stop for some grass)

Icelandic horse trekking - An amazing opportunity to see the Red Lava fields and experience Icelandic horse riding including the tolt gait which is unique to these horses. This was something I had always wanted to do and Karolina was an exceptional guide. I am so pleased I did it and am very grateful to Karolina and Patricia for making the whole morning so memorable.

Fantastic riding tour - Fantastic tour. Got sorted with horses and got information about the trip. Amazing views on the trip. The personal that was going with on the trip was very nice.
Everyone that wished to got to try to ride tolt. Got separat in groups for those who want to ride faster and those who was more beginner.

What I expected - It was definitely a safe experience. And quite enjoyable. The guides were very enthusiastic and the horses well behaved. If I had one complaint is that the horses walk in a line head to tail. I think it would have been a better experience if we were spread out some and could ride, not just be led by the horse in front of you.
