Would LOVE to go back! - When I paid the entry fee to get into this museum I thought it was a little expensive (almost $80 CAD), but it is worth every single penny! The museum is laid out in a really fun way and has many interactive exhibits! They even gave us an exclusive (I think we were the first 50 people) to see a new immersive video about entering into the crater of a volcano and it was exquisite! I also loved that they had the world’s only indoor ice cave that you could explore and it was included in the cost of our entry fee. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this museum to anyone visiting Reykjavík!

This was a fun thing to... - This was a fun thing to do on a rainy day! They have a coffee shop, bar and food and a small gift shop.

Well worth a visit - Easily reachable, in fact, if you’re so inclined, you can walk it from Reykjavik centre. Tidy, well presented, informative. The volcano and ice mini tour was really good, especially the volcano part (like being on an immersive ride). The planetarium Northern Lights show is also worth doing. You can grab a drink and food on the 4th floor and I would totally recommend; panoramic windows, wonderful views and a slowly moving floor so you can view all of Reykjavik! What a nice touch. Not cheap to get in (around £40) but, then, little is cheap in Iceland. Just suck it up.

Go to Perlan first - Arrived in Reykjavik in the morning and that afternoon went to Perlan. What a great choice this was we found it thoroughly enjoyable and informative . This is a must do first before any other Iceland tours as it gives you so much understanding of Iceland , the staff extremely friendly and helpful. What a pleasant 3 hours . We were also privileged to preview the new Volcano exhibit , our guide told us we were the first Aussies that she knew off to do this. It was fun. Great views from outside .

Perlan is a must do museum for families! 😍 - Perlan is such a fantastic museum, full of information and very interactive. We loved the immersive experiences with the volcano being a real family favourite! The ice cave tunnels were great fun too, gives you a bit of a flavour of what they would be like for real. The Aurora planetarium was a great place to sit back and relax at the end of the visit. All in all it was a great place to visit and well worth the money, I would definitely recommend this as a place to visit if you have children. 🤩❤️

The Perlan is a winner - Excellent experience. We were able to participate in all of the exhibits and really enjoyed the Volcano show and got a special treat when we were able to preview a new exhibit riding inside a volcano. The ice cave was amazing and the information available was very informative and interesting. This was a great way to spend several hours on a rainy day.

An essential visit! - This was an excellent place to visit, especially for someone who is mobility impaired. They loaned me a wheelchair and I could visit all the areas. The staff were very friendly and helpful. In one visit, I stood on the edge of the volcano and descended 2000m into one. Virtually but it felt incredibly real. I also went through an ice cave at -15°c which was very exciting.

Amazing - a must visit. - Incredible. An absolute must visit if you are in Iceland. They have a new volcano experience and it is honestly one of the best things I have ever, ever done. So immersive. The museum itself is good and informative but the ice cave, the volcano, the star gazing... all so so great. We were there for about 3 hours and could have happily wandered for longer. We visited the spinning cafe too at the top of the museum where there is also a resturant, we just had coffees but it was nice with great views. All of the team members were really helpful and Anthony did an amazing tour of the experience and the ice caves. It wasn't overly bust when we visited and I think families and people of all ages would enjoy.
