Flexibility is a kind of wisdom - We had a great experience on this tour! The South Coast trip was well-organized, and the communication from the tour company was excellent and up to date. We really enjoyed the beautiful sights and the smooth itinerary.
The Northern Lights portion was also a special experience. However, the only downside was that we wanted to switch our Northern Lights tour to an earlier day due to a better weather forecast, but unfortunately, the company did not allow it. They only offer rescheduling if the tour is canceled due to bad weather or if the lights aren’t visible.
Overall, it was a memorable tour, and we appreciated the effort the team put into making it enjoyable. Just a bit more flexibility with weather-related changes would make it even better.

Southern Iceland tour - the rocks on the trail behind the waterfall are fairly slick and there is a pretty good spray. So make sure you wear some shoes with a non-slip sole. A waterproof coat and pair of pants helps.
The glacier is a pretty good walk from the bus. If you want to walk all the way to the glacier you'll need to walk fairly quickly.

Ritchie, the genius guide... - Ritchie, the genius guide and Albert, the cool driver teamed up and delivered an awesome experience for the group of 60 plus people. The adjustment of the order of planned visiting sites based on the dynamic of the day resulted less crowds at sites. The engagement via WhatsApp provided much more information and allowed people sharing great photos during the trip. Ritchie went and stayed with the group at every site and took pictures for people. It’s really helpful and appreciated! Oh, the bonus site at the end of the day as a reward for people being on time is a fantastic idea and truly rewarding!

The South Iceland trip... - The South Iceland trip was amazing, exhausting but, amazing and Noi was a brilliant guide.
We passed through some stunning landscapes, saw 4 volcanos (active but thankfully not today) 3 glaciers, 2 waterfalls and went to the beach, albeit not the sort most of you would enjoy.
The Skogafoss waterfall was our first stop. We had the option of viewing it from above but given that I'm terrified of heights and the viewing platform was 570 steps up, I decided to view it's majesty from below 😂
The solheimajokull glacier up next. There was a bit of a hike to see it, but it was to far for me. I was really struggling to breath in the wind so I headed back to the coach. I was so disappointed as I was looking forward to seeing it.
We had lunch at a lovely little village called Vik and then back on the road to the Reynisfjara black sand beach. This was breathtaking not only in its raw beauty but literally, it took my breath away. We got caught up in a blizzard which meant that visibility was low and told that we had to be careful not to go too close to the waves as they were sneaky and very dangerous. I didn't need telling twice. The noise of the waves crashing on the beach was truly something to behold.
Our final stop was to see the Seljalandsfoss waterfalls which where lit up. With the naked eye the water looked like it was falling from the sky as you couldn't differentiate between the 2. The lights gave it a really eerie quality, but that didn't take anything away from just how spectacular it was.
I cannot tell you how impressed I was, and as I said Noi was just a fab guide. He was really knowledgeable, funny and was really keen to answer any and all questions. A couple of personal anecdotes made it even better. The weather was horrible but our driver Jon was magnificent.
I would highly recommend you to take this trip. *we weren't able to do the Northern Lights part as the weather was horrible to say the least.

Very disappointing - Very disappointing experience. The guide talked nonstop, to the point where multiple people complained. I skipped the second part of the tour and felt I wasted an entire day. I’ve been on over 60 Viator tours worldwide, and this was easily one of the worst. Concerns were raised but seemed to be ignored. The driver was great.
