Iceland welcomes you with its strikingly beautiful natural surroundings and distinct geologic characteristics. Embark on our South Coast expedition to experience some of the most awe-inspiring terrains in the nation like the magnificent waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skógafos, the dramatic Black Sand Beach with its imposing basalt pillars and forceful surges, in addition to Dyrhólaey promontory garnished with its lighthouse and a colossal oceanic arch.
The journey commences with a stop at Seljalandsfoss, a spectacular cascade allowing a walk behind it, and continues to the hidden charm of Gljufrabui.
Following this, we will proceed to Skógafoss, one of the most renowned waterfalls in Iceland, along side the lesser-known but comparably alluring Kvernufoss. We will also take a meal break at a local eatery in the vicinity.
Following this, we will explore Reynisfjara, a black sand beach adorned with incredible basalt columns and the Reynisdrangar sea stacks.
Lastly, we will drop by Dyrhólaey, a substantial cliff boasting a lighthouse and a naturally formed arch in the ocean.
