Magic - This was my favorite day by far. Our tour guide shared wonderful information throughout the day - Icelandic culture, history , language, etc. The Snaeffellsnes Penninsula was spectacular. It felt otherworldly with incredible land and views.

Snæfellsnes Peninsula With Thor - Sincere thanks to Thor who was a wonderful guide. He has a vast knowledge about the area which made the tour event more enjoyable. The home cooked meal was delicious. I highly recommend this tour.

Long but really worthwhile! - It's a full day trip but worthwhile for sure, with a great mix of landscapes. And our guide, Einar, was awesome! Very involved and up for answering random questions we peppered him with about the peninsula and his country, which gave us a chance to hear some fun and memorable anecdotes. We took the trip on a very blustery day but he made sure to add a quick stop when he noticed the sun peeking through — and right then we got a rainbow. Plus, Einar chose a pretty good soundtrack for each part of the drive.

Great tour, great guide!! - This tour was wonderful! The guide Toni F was truly amazing. This was a bilingual tour and the guide was so thorough and knowledgeable in Spanish and English. The meal was very good. The farm has horses and sheep and the hostess of the meal was very gracious. It is a long tour but very much worth your time. You may see some seals if you are lucky.

Stunning views all day - Mona P. made this tour so special for us. She had a curated soundtrack for us and she brought the energy. This tour always had an amazing view to see and something to learn. It was incredible. The homemade meal was so delicious and as someone with allergies I had tons of dishes to choose from. This tour is an all day experience so don't book an early dinner reservation or a second experience later. I loved every minute of this tour and got some amazing photos and memories from it. Made some good friend on this tour as well. I have been recommending this tour to friends and family already.

It was a long, rainy, and... - It was a long, rainy, and absolutely wonderful day. Toni, our guide, had plenty of great stories and facts about the places we visited and made us all feel welcomed. Bonus was I was able to meet fellow solo female travelers and made new friends!

Amazing and Unique Scenery - Our guide, Oscar, really made this trip interesting and worthwhile. We were able to see and understand certain features of this really interesting area of Iceland. It rained for our entire trip, but being prepared with rain gear made it so we could fully enjoy the different stops on this trip. It was a long day, so worth it, and for those who worry about necessity stops, we had plenty and were told how frequently they would occur. A great way to see another part of Iceland if your are based in Reykjavík.

Amazing day from start to finish - What an amazing day! So much to see and plenty of stops - the most stunning landscape ever. It never ends! It’s a long day out but with plenty of lunch and coffee stops. Simon, our guide, was fab. Very funny and knowledgeable with lots of great stories and musical recommendations. It’s definitely worth investing in a small tour - much more personal and the chance to chat to each other. Lovely lunch at a horse farm with a vegetarian option if you’re like me. I was sorry I didn’t book my South Iceland trip with EastWest for the following day, but I made the bookings before I arrived in Iceland andvknew no better. So definitely book up with them! All in all there’s a lot to see in this day trip, but there’s time enough to explore a bit and take photos. I also appreciate the fact that once we were all picked up the tour began - no faffing around changing onto other buses.

Another fantastic trip and guide! - This was an 11 hour day…and worth every minute! We were greeted punctually by our delightful guide, Leroy, who shared so many stories, insights and pronunciations during the day., as well as giving hints on how to get the best pictures. This fellow is so full of joy and he readily shares it! We loved him-even invited him to visit us in the US. During this adventure we visited a beach where we enjoyed watching a colony of seals. (This was a bonus because most of the animals one sees here are cows, horses and sheep.) Then we went to a local Icelandic horse farm where we had our BEST MEAL of our whole trip (no-we were not served horse). We were greeted by the owner’s daughter who is the 3rd generation running this farm…her grandmother started it from nothing when she became a widow and it has grown into a very impressive and welcoming operation. From there we travelled to an old church that has its roots in the 1700’s. This was followed by a lovely walk along the dramatic coastline and a visit to another beach where members of our group tried lifting stones once used to determine if would-be sailors were able-bodied enough to get the job. Lastly we stopped at Kirkjufell - a mountain that actually appeared in Game of Thrones (I’m told it was “behind the wall” in seasons 5 and 7). What a well spent day! We could not have asked for more.

This is a long bus trip... - This is a long bus trip almost 2 hrs before you really see anything. The viewing of seals could have been great but only saw one. The next stop to see the black church could be missed. The stop by the horse farm and lunch was fabulous. Homemade lunch was fabulous. The sop by the cliffs made the long trip worth it. Should have stayed longer there. The waterfall also was excellent Our guide Al was friendly and knowledgeable
