Fantastic tour of Snaefellsnes Peninsula - We booked a tour of the Snaefellsnes Peninsula with EastWest tours and had a fantastic time. Our tour guide and driver, Smári T., is the best! He is knowledgeable, funny, easy to talk to, and a safe driver. We learned so much on this tour - natural history, Icelandic culture, fun facts, and even some funny Icelandic idioms. He really brought the tour to life and made it unforgettable. We’ll absolutely be back to book another tour!

Seeing a little bit more of Iceland… - Leroy was an entertaining, informative and considerate guide and bus driver. Despite typical Icelandic winter weather (rain and wind) adequate time was provided at all the stops. However, I would have enjoyed ‘ traditional’ Icelandic food for lunch. While the places could have been visited outside the tour, the personal insights and driving skills (improved safety) of Leroy value added to seeing Snaefellsnes.

Guide/driver Leroy is amazing - Though a very long day, we were in very capable hands with our driver/guide Leroy. He provided the right amount of information, was very personable and is an amazing driver considering the narrow roads and fierce winter weather conditions. Definitely recommend this tour.

Amazing day at the Snaefellsnes Peninsula - I had done this trip towards the end of my journey in Iceland. At that point, I have done multiple tours with EastWest: the Golden Circle, Snaefellsnes, and the Northern Lights tour. And for all these tours, I can confidently rate them 10/10 experiences. For my Snaefellsnes tour, funny enough, I ended up with Goncalo, who also did my Golden circle tour! He is very knowledgeable and friendly. I have learnt and seen a lot of Iceland's geology and landscapes from these tours. I also appreciated the additional stops beyond what was included in the tour. These were memorable and a learning experience and a nice surprise. The farm stop was unique and had a variety of foods for us to eat. The food made by the lovely people who owned the farm was amazing and was the best food I had in Iceland and I love the homely feel of the dining area. Despite the limited daylight during the winter period, I felt that the itineraries was well scheduled and the amount of time spent at the major stops was adequate to see everything that you want. Overall, tours with EastWest are very much worth the price and would recommend booking a tour with them. They give a fantastic impression of Iceland that makes you wanting to come back for more.

Don’t miss this tour…. beautiful scenery everywhere - Me and my friends booked this tour through Wake-up Reykjavik and we had the best tour company EastWest and our guide Leroy was phenomenal. The scenery the entire trip was beautiful and picturesque. Group size very good, the van was very comfortable and Leroy kept us engaged at all times. The lunch at the horse farm was very good and host family so kind. This was such a wonderful day to spend seeing another part of Iceland’s mountains and coastline. Don’t miss out on it…book it today.

Icelandic natural beauty at its finest - Bjorn was an excellent guide for this tour! His passion for Iceland is contagious, and his friendly upbeat attitude made the tour all the more enjoyable. I learned more about Icelandic culture and history than a museum. He even somehow spotted a pod of whales near the shore from the highway so we made an extra stop. So much natural beauty on this trip, but for anyone considering this tour, the strong wind is no joke, windproof clothing and a face covering is a must. Highly recommended!

Snaefellsnes--hard to say but unforgettable! - We toured with EastWest to the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. Simon A was our driver/guide. Great tour of the area with amazing sites including lava fields, black sand beaches (in February!), and glaciers. Our guide was knowledgeable and funny. The luncheon was perfect for pescatarians like us--locally caught cod. A long but interesting day. Recommend it highly.
