Unique experience - Definitely unique and unique experience. The guides, in this case the excellent Adri have prepared us for diving and helped us to wear everything we need for snorkeling. Experience definitely not to be missed

Diving - Franklin our driver/tour guide was phenomenal, so friendly and gave us all the info we needed. Jampy, our dive guide was professional and friendly, giving you freedom to move through the water with the confidence of him being near by. Definitely the highlight of my trip

Wow - what an amazing experience! - At busy times there can be quite a delay - but once you’re in the water and diving, it is amazing. What an incredible experience! Wow! The water was cool, 3 degrees Celsius. The vis was unbelievable - as far as your eyes can see. My undergarments did their job well! This is a once in a lifetime experience. Our guide Maciek was very good and attentive. The staff were very helpful. The walk to the ramp with all the dive gear was a little tiring but not too hard. However the return walk with extra weight was unpleasant at best.

Bullied by dive master with no constructive feedback or support - My family and I scheduled to get dry suit certified and to dive Silfra’s Fissure and I was left distraught and in tears from Ioannis’s lack of guidance and subsequent bullying from the dry suit course. The dry suit certification is challenging by nature, but I think it would have been a lot more enjoyable and productive if the instructor had been more encouraging and actually cared to teach rather than just going through the notion of pushing students through a course snd clients through a dive. He didn’t explain any concepts and would just show us skills and what to do in case of failure and expect us to just get it immediately. I was having buoyancy issues and instead of trying to constructively help me to understand, he just kept asking why I kept putting air in my BCD as if I wanted to pop to the surface when I was just trying to stop sinking. Then on top of that he told me to stay behind in the lake to practice my buoyancy and that he would watch but just walked out of the lake and left me there. I found these teaching methods very unprofessional and negligent. Because it wasn’t properly explained how to use the dry suit, I was left with bruising on my arm and all over my chest. I will not be using this company for future diving excursions nor recommending the outfitter to friends and family.

Impatient guide and leaky snorkel - My mom and I went snorkeling with the guide John. The guide was impatient and pushy. At the start, he failed to demonstrate proper use of the equipment, especially the snorkel. We did not mind at the time, since we have been scuba diving in the past with no issues. However, once we started floating in the water, water started entering both of our snorkels. My mom complained to the guide that she was unable to breathe through her snorkel, and he immediately pushed her out of the water without checking the equipment or attempting to clarify the problem, ending her experience after being in the water for less than a minute. I was still attempting to adjust my snorkel to resolve the situation when the guide moved on. I tried to follow, but every time I put the snorkel on, water would start trickling in after a few seconds. I tried to get the guide’s attention, but he just told me to swim over because I was in the way of the next group. When I was eventually able to catch up to him and explain the situation, he claimed that I must not be forming a proper seal around the mouthpiece, even though I felt that I was, and he did not attempt to demonstrate what I was doing wrong but rather moved on without even checking the snorkel. When I said that I was still getting water in my snorkel, he said that there was nothing he could do since he “can’t breathe for” me. I was forced to tread water thereafter for the rest of the trip since I couldn’t use the snorkel, while the guide kept urging me to swim faster the entire time. Both my mom and I are in good health and have experience swimming. Overall, it was a terrible experience for the both of us.

Awkwardly organized - This is my second time around trying this with both being failures. I do get refunds for the event but when you come to the country specifically for this you lose holiday time and airfare etc. First time was an “operational error”. This time it was from another diver, who with my little experience, I say shouldn’t have been there in the first place. Well he put himself at risk and I won’t get into details. But with 1 guide following a crew and one member fails, we all fail. No back up to continue or address any concerns, especially if the person is in back. Not your typical dive by far where I know it’s “safety first”. Seems more like a rush job to get more clients at a risk. I’d do this totally private. Totally separate from the snorkelers.
