Fun walking tour - Our tour guide Paul was great! The food was delicious, we got to try fermented shark 🤢, had a hot dog and delicious soup. Would recommend doing this tour earlier on your trip as Paul points out great local restaurant spots to eat.

Great guide - Very enjoyable tour. Stefan was a great guide and we got to sample traditional Icelandic food in five locations. If you take the late tour, you will not need dinner.

Really enjoyable way to spend an afternoon in Reykjavik. - Tour conducted by Palli, an ex-fisherman who injected loads of personality into the tour. I always enjoy trying new food traditions and this tour hit the mark. Finally got to try some of that fermented shark meat that you hear about. I'll mark that as 'interesting'! 😉

Awesome start - We did this tour on our first day in Reykjavík. What an experience! Not only was all the food great, our guide Gardar was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of history as we walked around. Iceland is an amazing place and their food and culture doesn’t disappoint. Worth the price!

Icelandic comfort food tour - Lovely small group tour with Einar as our guide. He was very informative and gave lots of interesting facts about the area and the food. He was welcoming and made the group feel comfortable. We were not rushed and there was no pressure to try anything that you didn't want to try. He asked about food restrictions and was great at making accommodations as needed. I don't generally like to eat fish but was open to the experience. The food sampled was varied and I found myself enjoying some of the more fishy dishes. I even tried the infamous fermented shark! Highly recommend for the food curious.

Great activity to start... - Great activity to start learning about Iceland and its culture. Loved having Gardar as our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable. Answered all of our questions and gave us great suggestions on what we could do after the tour and later on while in Iceland. We ate lamb soup, salmon crostini, goose crostini, Icelandic hot dog, cod fish meal, fermented shark, cake, and drink. Quite an experience for me! 100% recommend this experience!
