• Gaukshöfði - A hill offering stunning panoramic views over the Þjórsá river valley, extending to the Hekla volcano.
• Tungnaárfellsfoss - This broad waterfall is located in the Tungnaá river in central Iceland. Surrounded by untouched nature, it offers a chance to experience the pure Icelandic landscape, often in solitude. Tungnaárfellsfoss can be a delightful stop or walking detour on the way to Landmannalaugar.
• Hjalparfoss - Known as “Help’s Falls,” Hjálparfoss is situated in the Þjórsárdalur valley, just north of Iceland’s active Hekla volcano. The waterfall flows from the Fossá river, which joins with Þjórsá, Iceland’s longest river, nearby. Hjálparfoss is a stunning two-tiered waterfall that cascades into a large plunge pool, surrounded by unique basalt rock formations. Located about 30 km from Flúðir, it is approximately a 2-hour drive from Reykjavik. Þjófafoss and Háifoss are also nearby.
• Thjodveldisbaerinn Stong - Located in the Thjorsarsalur valley in South Iceland, Thjodveldisbaer is a reconstructed Viking turf house based on the ruins of the ancient manor farm Stong. The well-preserved ruins were meticulously followed during reconstruction to accurately represent the chieftains’ homes from the saga age.
• Thjofafoss - “Thief Falls,” or Þjófafoss, flows in the Þjórsá river, Iceland’s longest river, and is situated in the Merkurhraun lava field in southern Iceland. According to legend, thieves were once drowned here for their crimes, as the waterfall’s name suggests.
• Gjain - Hidden in the Þjórsárdalur valley in South Iceland, Gjáin is a breathtakingly beautiful natural gem. It is a delicate beauty that must be preserved and treated with utmost respect. The Rauðá river (Red River) flows through here, with the charming Gjárfoss waterfall cascading into the gorge of Gjáin, beautifully framed by its surroundings.
• Sigoldugljufur - Sigöldugljúfur canyon is a captivating small canyon deep in the Icelandic highlands. It is remarkable for its numerous small waterfalls, blue river, and vibrant vegetation. This enchanting canyon could easily serve as a backdrop for an adventure story or a Sci-Fi movie.
• Sigoldufoss - Sigoldufoss, or Sigöldufoss, is a charming waterfall in southern Iceland. It stands 10 meters high in the Tungnaá river.
• Haifoss - Standing at 122 meters, Háifoss is located in the Fossá river, a spring water tributary of the glacial river Þjórsá, Iceland’s longest river.

I will collect you from your hotel in my 4x4 Jeep, accompanied by a small group of no more than 4 people to ensure comfort and intimacy. Together, we will journey to the ‘otherworldly’ lands of the Icelandic highlands, taking in the craters, lakes, and secluded spots unseen by most visitors. Here, you will create and collect lasting memories and photographs (20 of which I will send to you within 72 hours post-excursion).
