I would highly recommend this museum during your stay in Reykjavik - This was a fantastic experience. The staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. We were most impressed with the ice cave. We went to the cafe and had a coffee and cake and then did the 360 degree walk around the dome. Wow what a view. The Nothern lights in the planetarium was an amazing show, and will we waited we were shown a short film of the volcanic erupts in and around iceland.

Fun for the whole family - Interactive & educational. Great activity for the whole family (especially on a rainy day). The restaurant on the top deck revolves.

Excellent museum! - The Perlan was a very cool museum focused on the natural wonders of Iceland. The exhibits were informative and interesting but by far our favorite was the volcano movie they show. Between the beautiful camera work and the smell they use to make it smell like a volcano, it was very immersive and awesome. Most of the exhibits require a fair bit of reading to get the most out of it but it was well worth the time. And the northern lights show at the end was AMAZING!

Very Interesting - Perlan museum with its distinctive glass dome is a must visit while in Reykjavik. Among the interesting things was a walk through an artificial ice cave, a movie about a volcano erupting and lava flowing down. There was also a spectacular Northern lights show movie. The views of Reykjavik from the observation deck are fabulous.

Informative - I thought the museum is informative and the ice cave was interesting. The view from the observation deck was amazing. They have a restaurant on site but we didn’t try it.

Great way to see the northern lights—inside - We loved this Aurora film so much we saw it twice. We took photos before the film began and posted them on social media. We would recommend this experience.

Great views on Reykjavik, films disappointing - We like the 360°-view over Reykjavik and the icecream was really yummy. The icecave is a really nice feature. The films about aurora and volcanoes were disappointing - nothing new to learn and little scientific content. Would have liked to have this more educating and with more real pictures from auroras in Iceland instead of films about auroras on Saturn etc..
