Cold but wonderful experience - We had a great evening with Siggi on this trip. The lights were dancing over Reykjavik as we left the city, they toyed with us for a while then disappeared. Siggi’s knowledge and skills in reading all the data meant we stayed put and at 11:30, just when he said they would, they came back and treated us to a super display. The lights looked like white rolling clouds in the night sky and you didn’t really see the colour until you took your photos, but watching them roll and move above us, even in monochrome, was fantastic and then the photos brought them to life. Be aware it gets REALLY cold out of the city at night, we got to -9 and it was bitter, the minibus is available for warm ups and Siggi always shouted when there was something to see. The hot chocolate he provided at 11:30 as we watched the lights dance above us was heavenly, a great experience and we learnt a lot about the lights too. He takes loads of photos with slow exposure and sends them after the trip, so you get some great professional shots as well as your own efforts. Wrap up super warm and enjoy!

Dream came true - So grateful to our guide who tried his best to find Northern lights and actually found them at the end! We were so happy!!! It was super windy but he still managed to make great photos of us and Northern lights. I cannot imagine how hard it was for him to make photos of all of us in such cold and windy conditions but he still did that for us🥺 We were also treated with hot chocolate which was such a pleasant surprise! Also thank you for telling us so many interesting things about Northern lights! I’m sure that’s the best Northern lights tour in Reykjavík because I cannot even imagine how it could be better! 14.02.2026

Magical Must Do! - We took this tour on our first night in Iceland and so glad we did! Siggi really is a professional lights chaser. It was quite cloudy and after 2 hours we thought all hope might be lost but Siggi did not give up. We jumped in the van and burned rubber 30 minutes south where sure enough there they were. And they definitely put on a magical show. It was amazing. Definitely take this tour. The small van format was great. We saw large buses which I’m sure made the process slow too get on and off the bus. We had about 15 people which made us agile enough to change locations quickly. 5 stars for Siggi and this tour!

Once in a lifetime moment - I booked this tour as an early birthday gift to myself, knowing there was only about a 50/50 chance of seeing the Northern Lights. I kept my expectations realistic because of the clouds earlier that day, but our guide truly made the experience unforgettable. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained how solar flares and coronal mass ejections from the Sun send charged particles toward Earth, creating the aurora. His passion for the science behind it made the experience even more meaningful. He was determined to find the perfect viewing spot and did not give up. He also has an incredible eye for photography — the pictures turned out amazing! The hot cocoa was a perfect touch while we waited under the night sky. I would absolutely book with him again. He was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely awesome. Highly recommend!

The Best Northern Lights Tour - The guide was highly knowledgeable about the Northern Lights phenomenon and very enthusiastic. He was also an excellent photographer, using the very best equipment. During this trip I used three different companies for Northern Lights tours, and this was the best. Another thing that set this tour apart is that it started at 9:00 pm, while the others started at 8. The Northern Lights are likely to be strongest starting around 11:00, so later is usually better. I would definitely choose this company again.

Amazing lights - enthusiastic guide - Guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable - drove to several places to find light which were spectacular. He took pictures of us with the lights behind us. Nice touch. Only issue is it was so cold and the bus remained open and off so no opportunity to warm up. The driver stayed off taking pictures while we were all on the bus ready to go. So maybe he was alittle over enthusiastic???

Fantastic Aurora Experience - We were very lucky to have an outstanding Aurora night. Our guide/driver/owner of the excursion was knowledgeable, friendly, and focused on making sure we had a great experience. Picked up right on time, Sprinter bus with about 15 guests. 45-60 minute ride from Reykjavik city center. Our guide explained in advance how the Aurora begin slowly, on the horizon, and should peak overhead about midnight. He was spot on, obviously knows his lights. We were fortunate to see almost full sky coverage and saw the dancing Aurora lights in green and some red. We were on site about three hours. Wrapped up with a hot chocolate warming treat and pit stop at the park facilities before the trip back. Highly recommended…

Be prepared - It may be very, very cold. And you may not see the northern lights with your naked eye, but.....the photos taken by the guide can capture them.
