It’s worth the wait! - This tour was on a night that had all the makings of being a disappointment. Skies were super cloudy and all the apps had the percent chance of show at 10%. But our guide was committed! All the other tour buses started leaving and then one minute after they left the most beautiful lights display filled the sky and we were the only ones to see it!!

Amazing tour with an amazing guide - The experience was absolutely amazing. Gulli was fantastic with his singing of Icelandic songs and energy. He kept us going and eventually we got to see the lights. I think it was the dancing and joy he truly brought to the tour. I adored him and he made the experience even better than I could have expected.

Special birthday - Coming to Iceland, I knew that it wasn’t always possible to see the Northern Lights. In the days leading up to the tour, it seemed like my odds were 50/50. As we were driving out of Reykjavík, Kristi was teaching us about the science of the Northern Lights. About 20 minutes into our drive, she exclaimed that we could see them out the bus window! We pulled over as soon as possible and had a great view of the Lights. As a solo traveler, I don’t have many photos of myself but Kristi was more than happy to take photos of me with the Lights. We stayed in the same spot for an hour or two and got to enjoy the show. Overall the tour was great, Kristi was amazing, and seeing the Lights was the best birthday gift :)

Amazing tour, 100/10 recommend Gulli as a guide - Gulli is an AMAZING guide. I feel so thankful that I was placed on his bus. Gulli kept our spirits high even when the lights were nowhere to be seen for the first few hours of the tour. He sang and explained Icelandic culture to us. And, he went as far as inviting us dance to get the lights to appear. In the pitch blackeness & cold tundra weather I couldn’t stop laughing out of joy, I genuinely had a splendid time. The lights did come to visit us during our tour (was it the dancing and encantations? Who knows!) it was a delicate experience hightened by our host, Gulli!

Northern lights - Gulli is amazing. He sang songs; we danced. It took a little while, but the lights were beautiful, dancing across the sky.

All-Around Amazing Northern Lights Experience!!! - I had such an amazing time!!! We weren’t sure if we’d see the Northern Lights, but our tour guide, Gulli, pointed it out at the perfect time and we were able to see! We all danced and sang together, and he truly made the experience all the more wonderful. I can’t recommend this tour enough!

Midnight Lights - Our tour guide was Gulli, and our driver was Dean. They were both great! We went on a night with low visibility, and they opted to keep trying, and we finally caught the lights! Gulli was very lively, and gave some great tidbits of Nordic history to liven up the drive, and even sang a few songs for us (and has a great voice, at that!)

Severe weather caused cancellation - Due to very bad weather conditions with almost zero visibility, snow storm and Yellow weather warnings our trip was cancelled. We were informed early of the cancellation by email and messages. We were offered and accepted a full refund.
