Sometimes you don't have to look too far. - Aurora sightings were best seen by the naked eye while on the bus (en route to park). Once the bus parked, the search began. My smartphone was incapable of viewing and I could not see the lights with my eyes. My friends handed their phones to me. That being said, I was stationed in Alaska (army) in Fairbanks and viewed the aurora with the naked eye. Honestly, I believe the volcano activity aided lot to the restricted visibility. Coincidentally, I viewed the aurura at the harbor whole on an evening stroll. Lucky us.

What a show... - We were not sure what to expect, but suddenly the show started, st the beginning we could only see them through our phones, but then we got a wonderful show visible from the naked eye..It was super cold, wear multiple layers and gloves, also you will need a tripod.

Miraculous - It was a rainy and cloudy night at the tail end of the season, April 10th 2025. I thought the tour would be canceled. It had even alerted and snowed. It was pouring rain as we boarded the bus. Our guide was optimistic. I was not. He helped everyone change their settings on their phone. He was very patient and understanding. He advised us we could stay in the warmth and he would notify us when he spotted the northern lights. We had to go to two sites. He knew his stuff. Our guide and driver persevered and found the northern lights for us. It was nothing short of miraculous. We got many amazing pictures.

Wow! Wow! Wow! - Solvi, our guide and Csaba, our driver were the best! We stopped a second time on our way back to Reykevnic because Solvi just felt “in his bones” that we’re we’re going to see a great display! Boy was he right!! It was totally amazing and he is a pro at what he does! Thanks so much to this amazing duo for making our final night in Iceland, something we will NEVER forget!!!

Nature's spectacle - they tried hard to find them, since in the first destination they did not see each other but in the second it was spectacular. A very pleasant 10 guide

just wow - Not gonna lie, kind of cried. The whole week, I was unable to see the lights despite having a car -- I didn't want to risk driving at night as I was by myself -- but on the last night, I was in the city, so I had to book an excursion. Luckily, we were able to see it away from the city. It was magical and worth every single penny I spent. The tour operator was also very funny, but he gave good tips on how to take pictures.

Almost worth it - The lights were visible, but we were freezing. Please let everyone know to wear wind breaker pants with full winter gear!

Did not see northern lights - Did not see the lights, but the instructors kept saying that wow we saw them. No we didn't. They were literally asking us to take pictures and increase the saturation to see the greenish effect. I did not come to take a picture to post on my socials, I came to see it with my own eyes and experience it.
