Left in the dark with nothing but booze - Went as part of organised extra for Eve Online Fanfest for an hour visit, bus driver was great and friendly. Staff at tunnel had good knowledge and understood was bunch of space nerds with 3 bus loads or more and worked with that to enhance our experiance with extra show provided with Fernis Creations. Hard hats and optional walking sticks were provided and got to sample some of the amazing gin they are producing on site. Really enjoyed seeing and hearing about the tunnel and how it was created and got some awesome pictures/videos would recommend a visit.

Floor was not made of lava - If you like lava tunnels, you'll love this tour. Guide was highly trained, competent and entertaining. Some ice, rocks and snow in March but, if you go slow, you should be fine. I didn't see any cliffs to fall off of. Some stairs, but you walk to the end and then walk back the same way, so if you need to stop before the end, you can wait for the group to come back to you or walk back on your own.

Exceeding expectations - I loved the walk. The tunnel is very beautiful, different and the explanations of the guide help us understand how it was formed. Because it was winter, the snow entered through the holes in the ceiling and formed as if they were columns inside the cave. Magnificent!

Amazing tour. All well organised. And so very interesting - Amazing tour. All well organised. And Dimitris our guide was very good. He conducted entire tour at a very relaxed pace, with lots of very interesting info about Lava Tunnels. I learnt so much from listening to him. At the same time he was very funny throughout that made the overall experience very memorable.

Very good tour but some negatives - Very good tour, guide was knowledgeable. The tunnel was beautiful and I liked it more than I thought (really booked it for my husband). A couple of negatives: the little kids slowed things down and were distracting. Also, because of the slow kids, we didn’t have time to stop and really look around. Tour seemed rushed. And our bus driver was cranky! Would I recommend? Yes, the experience is worth it.

Wish I could have seen more! - Very pleasant bus driver!! Guide at Tunnels was very knowledgeable. However what is not made clear is that if you have any balance/walking/knee issues this is NOT for you. There are basically no hand rails on many ups and downs over slippy convoluted surfaces I managed only ca 50% of tunnel even with walking sticks.
