- Note: she show starts on the dot so we recommend arriving 20 minutes early
- Note: the show may not be suitable for the very youngest children (under 5)
- Note: Premium Experience is on the 2nd floor - not wheelchair accessible
- Note: Premium Experience is for adults only (age 13 and above)
- Note: it gets pretty hot in the showroom when the lava flows in (nice and toasty)

Really fun time—get the premium upgrade - This was such a cool experience! Johanna (sp?) was a wonderful presenter and we learned and saw really cool things. Paying for the premium upgrade is totally worth it—unobstructed seating, a special lobby, and delicious drinks

A Molten Must-See in Reykjavík! - The Lava Show was SO much cooler than I even expected. The host Ian was engaging, funny, and incredibly informative, and every staff member I interacted with was just as friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about the science behind the show. As a solo traveler, I felt completely welcome going alone and would 100% recommend it. I had already done excursions to volcanoes, but seeing real, molten lava up close — watching how it moves, reacts, and glows — was an entirely different, unforgettable experience. The location is also a bonus: it’s right next to the Omnom chocolate shop and great restaurants near the harbor, so it’s a perfect activity to fill part of your day without committing to a full hike or long excursion. 10/10 recommend!

Great show - Quite nice presentation of the flowing lava but also very informative about volcanic activity in Iceland. Marianna did a great job explaining further details as well as visually demonstrating the lava qualities in the different stages.

Terrific show! - What a great experience! Our Scottish guide was fantastic, he explained the properties of lava in a very entertaining way. We enjoyed the whole show!

Definitely worth doing while in town - Was unsure if this was going to be great, as I really wanted to see lava coming from the ground, but I was pleasantly surprised! The information was interesting and fun, and the lava demonstration was really neat…my teens even loved it.

Disappointing - Very disappointing and not worth the price! We felt like the presentation was being done by a high school kid. She was knowledgeable and seriously lack quality presentation skills. We purchased the Premium Experience and definitely not worth the cost of the tickets. Ican see the potential with this show, but with what we experienced I do not recommend this show.
