🤩 - This is a long trip but they managed to pack the whole thing in a reasonable manner without getting you tired or bored. They would give you enough time for each stop for exploring and photo-taking. The weather wasn’t great that day with strong wind and rain but that’s part of the journey (remember to bring water and wind proofed jacket just in case weather like this happens). For the glacier lagoon, they also offered to reserve a boat trip on the lake which is great since you don’t need to double book on apps with a different agency. A lot of the time will be spent on the bus due to the long distance between attractions but the bus was clean and the seats are comfortable for long trips. Apart from that, our guide Albert did manage to fill in some details on the scenery that we passed by and make additional short stops for us to get closer to the landscape. Would recommend doing this if you don’t have enough time in Iceland or don’t want to drive yourself:)

Wonderful tour and tour guide Albert - Albert was wonderful, a very knowledgeable tour guide who showed us so many beautiful sights and hidden gems as well. We were on time and still had plenty of time to sightsee and rest in bettweeen sights. The tour was amazing and Albert was a big part of the reason why!

A memorable and one of a kind tour - Our tour guide was Albert, and he was amazing! We stayed on schedule and had the opportunity to add a boat tour throughout the glacier lagoon. There were ample rest stops and Albert told engaging history about the region. There were a few delightful hidden gems he showed us along the way that were along the tour route- these gave some unanticipated and much appreciated depth to the tour! We are so grateful for this experience and highly recommend the tour and Albert as a guide!!

A Great South Coast Trade Off Tour - What an excellent tour, HIGHLY recommended if staying in Reykjavik. Our guide, Kalli, was awesome and really a fountain of historical knowledge. He gave us the biggest chunks of information during the first few hours of the tour, and then just let us chill and admire the views in quiet during the return portion of the trip. With this tour you will experience the best of the South Coast of Iceland. Kvernufoss and Seljalandsfoss Waterfalls, Vikurfjara Black Sand Beach, and the ultimate destination the Glacier Lagoon / Diamond Beach. The only big attraction you'll miss on this tour is the Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, which is better than the neighbouring Vikurfjara Black Sand Beach this tour goes to. I personally decided to sacrifice an up close experience on the Reynisfjara Beach in order to see the Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach and it was WORTH IT. This tour is ultimately the trade off option between tours that prioritize going to Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach along with the waterfalls, or this tour which goes to the Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach.

Outstanding but longer than expected - This was a great excursion, but very long (which we knew when we signed up) The weather didn’t quite cooperate which made it a tad bit longer. What we saw was truly amazing. Breathtaking views of glacier lagoon, seals frolicking, and glistening ice on Diamond Beach made this tour a truly unforgettable experience. The waterfalls we stopped at were just beautiful! Our guide Juliana was great. The only suggestion I would make is to have both a driver and a guide on this tour. Juliana functioning as both made for a very long day for her and she was unable to fully engage with the participants. I’m sure Juliana has a wealth of knowledge about Iceland but because of her driving responsibilities she was unable to share her knowledge with us. A recording of the sites just didn’t work.
