Great experience! Our... - Great experience! Our guide, Emma, was humorous and shared history and folklore about Iceland. 5 stars for Emma. Definitely glad we went into the glacier!

One-of-a-kind experience - This was an incredible one-of-a-kind experience. It is amazing to get to go out on a glacier and then go deep below it in an ice tunnel. Ryan was an incredible guide. Our only complaint is that our guides struggled to keep track of people in our groups at each step of the tour so we spent a lot of time waiting.

Into the Glacier - Emma and Ryan were fantastic guides. They were fun informative and told stories of old about how the criminals were treated but in a funny way. The tunnel was sensational. Great adventure. Well run tour. Had shoes and jackets if you didn’t come with the right gear. Truck ride was fun interesting to learn about tyre pressure in the snow Good long well maintained tunnel. Some skylights and air vents. Explained about crevasses and how the glacier works with the ice and snow. You could see the lines in the tunnel from different climatic events. Great fun.

Unique Iceland Experience - This was a fun way to spend an afternoon! We took transport up onto the glacier, and were able to take some beautiful pictures before venturing inside the ice cave. The guides were extremely knowledgeable, informative, and willing to answer any and all questions about the glacier and what we were seeing. Highly recommend booking with them for a unique Iceland experience!

Amazing views of Iceland and a fun experience - Amazing experience-views from the top of the world! The ice cave was fun but what really blew me away was the views we were lucky to go on a clear day with little wind and could see forever. So, so beautiful. The ice cave tour was fun. I am a little claustrophobic but was fine down there. They are very kind and allow you to head back whenever you want to. Our guide was hilarious and told us stories non-stop.

Worthwhile Excursion - The adventure begins in a parking lot where you meet your bus for the first leg of the journey to the edge of the glacier camp where you are outfitted with crampons and optional waterproof boot covers and a jacket. You board a vintage ex-NATO heavy duty all terrain vehicle for the climb to the entrance of the caves. The bus travels a bumpy, uphill dirt road that could use some attention in spots. The all terrain vehicle is impressive but, depending on the wind direction, you get diesel exhaust in the cabin - this was true on our return trip. The tunnels have been drilled for tourists. Our guide, Emma, was informative and friendly and accompanied us on the ride to the caves and then into the caves with details on the glacier and the caves. The whole trek was 4 hours with approximately an hour spent in the tunnel and the remainder spent traveling to, from and being outfitted.

Great experience , if you have never stood in a glacier, it is worth it. - Great experience standing on a glacier and then descending into the depths. The guide was very helpful and provided a lot of information about the glacier. As an input, he has sung in a large room in the glacier with brief darkening of Innisland suffering. Excellent.

It’s Okay, but dress accordingly. - There’s a lot of time spent travelling to the glacier entrance and a lot of hanging around and waiting. The tour into the glacier itself is relatively interesting and lasts about 30 mins, but it’s pretty cold and wet and slushy, so you need to dress accordingly. I’ve done several different tours to glaciers over the years and have had much better experiences to be honest. If it’s a bright sunny day with good visibility i guess it would make for a better experience too.
