History, geology, theology, gastronomy and traditional Crete artisans - all in one lovely day - Such a knowledgeable tour guide. Truly covered some of the best of Crete history and traditional gems. Loved Margarite and the ceramic artisans there who gave us a demonstration. The lunch in Axons was wonderful so delicious and the taverna was so beautifully situated green shady trees. With a beautiful church and a jaw-droping mountains all around. Best of all the intense and mysterious cave of Melodoni and the legends and tragic past. Best tour!

Melidoni Cave as part of a day tour - Nice cave. Not spectacular, but with history and nice little bistro as well as great views over the valley and mountains.

Excursions rate - Hello.
We did this excursion on April 30, 2025
Unfortunately poorly organized and lack of information!!! Per person it was 40€ thinking everything was included arrived on site we had to pay monastery ticket 4€ /p
Then there was a brunch also paying 10€ (potato chicken reduced quantity ) drinks from 3€ And coffee or tea 3€ We took the bus to make the caves And the 5€ for caves or the visit lasted 10 min show in hand
I find it a little expensive for this excursion It is not worth more than 25€ all inclusive the total cost us 65€😡
And our impression was to do this scam And be forced To have lunch and take the set menu as well as buy at each stop of visit Pottery etc...
