Groups of six or fewer have the unique chance to interact with a Hawk, Falcon, and Owl, as well as observe the impressive agility and skill of a Hawk in flight, landing on a Falconer’s gauntlet.

Federal regulations stipulate that participants must be over the age of 14 to hold the Raptors on the gauntlet.

• Use of Falconers Gauntlet for Use During Activity

A group of participants is offered a unique opportunity to delve into the life of a raptor through an intimate encounter with hawks, falcons, and owls.

With guidance from a licensed falconer, participants will explore the biology, conservation, field identification, characteristics, behaviors, natural history, and significance of raptors.

After a brief orientation, guests will be equipped with a gauntlet and accompany a trained hawk on a short walk – observing her agility and skill as she flies from perch to perch, returning to the falconer’s gauntlet.
