Throughout the journey, the driver guide will provide commentary and share insights about this breathtakingly beautiful area.

Sunshine and sipping - Excellent commentary and guide knowledge. A good variety of nice wines to try. Beautiful drive through lush hills. No rush at each stop. Very accommodating guide. Had a wonderful day.

We had a fabulous day on... - We had a fabulous day on this tour.
Our amazing tour guide Gary was a wealth of knowledge.
We learnt so much about Wellington, surrounds and the wine region. We had great chats and he answered all our questions with lots of local insights.
All the vineyards we attended had a great selection of red and white wines to taste and the lunch we ordered at one of the vineyards was delicious.
Highly recommend this tour, we loved it.

This tour was a beautiful... - This tour was a beautiful windy day in the mountains at three area wineries. My family truly enjoyed the tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Wellington.

Fun wine tour of Martinborough wineries. - We thoroughly enjoyed our small group tour to the Martinborough Wine region. The small group allowed us to easily make decisions for the helpful suggestions our driver Stephen offered. He was a great guide and shared information about the region and New Zealand. Zozo Tours accommodated our cruise ship arrival schedule and was very communicative prior to our arrival. Highly recommended.

Great introduction to Martinborough wineries and local history - A great experience. Our driver/guide Athena was knowledgeable, engaging and fun. She shared historical and cultural information as we drove up the Hutt Valley, over the Remutaka range (with a brief stop for photos and views at the summit), down through Featherston, into the wide Wairarapa plain and through the quaintly touristy town of Martinborough. We visited three wineries for generous and informative tastings. The first two wineries were small, boutique affairs, very high quality wines. The second, Moy Hall, included plenty of time for a delicious lunch at Martinborough's top winery restaurant -- superb food and gorgeous surroundings! The final winery was a larger, more commercial operation. Its wines were good but not stellar like the others. The service was rushed and moderately knowledgeable unlike the expert, patient service at the first two. The drive back to Wellington featured a stop at an excellent, picturesque cheese shop in Featherston. Athena was wisely quiet the rest of the way back, as we were all sleepy and sated. Billed as a half day, it's closer to a full day: we were picked up at our hotel of choice around 930 am, and dropped off around 4 pm. Highly recommended.

Enjoying the wines of wonderful Wairarapa. - A fantastic relaxing and informative day out in the vineyards. Phillip was our guide for the day and ensured we kept to time. Loved the three wineries we visited and each presenter was enthusiastic about their wines...was even tempted to buy some! A great day for a large group of friends with wonderful wine, food and transport...thanks Phillip.

Martinborough wine - Very good information about the Martinborough region and wines. We were the only Kiwis on the tour (others from a cruise ship) and although we have visited Martinborough a number of times, Gary was informative and we learned some new information.
