Myora Springs is a picturesque location and a freshwater source for the wildlife in the Dunwich area, located just a few kilometers from Dunwich on the road to Amity Point and Point Lookout. Myora Springs, also known as Moongalba (sitting down place), features a pristine freshwater spring that has flowed for thousands of years. The forest surrounding Myora Springs is rich with freshwater crayfish, prawns, bungwal fern, and other plant foods, making it a favored camping spot for Aboriginal people. The banks reveal large middens containing cockle, oyster, and whelk shells, among other things.
