Journey to Chitwan (Approx: 185 km/5-6 hrs drive)

Kathmandu - Upon arrival at Sauraha Bus Park/Tadi or Bharatpur Airport, staff will warmly welcome guests. They will be transported to the Resort, where refreshments will be served, and a briefing on the facilities will be provided.
After receiving the day’s schedule, guests will be shown to their rooms. Overnight accommodation will be at a 3-star hotel (Hotel Jungle Crown or a similar establishment).
Lunch will be served around 13:00.
Chitwan Tharu Village - At 15:00, there will be a tour of a nearby ethnic Tharu village, offering insights into the Tharu lifestyle. Guests will visit the National Park Visitor’s Centre to learn about the park’s history, wildlife, and enjoy a sunset view from the Rapti River bank.
At 19:00, guests can enjoy a Tharu cultural dance performance, with an opportunity to participate, presented by local villagers.
Full Day Activities
Chitwan National Park - At 06:00, a wake-up call will be followed by breakfast.
Around 07:00, guests will embark on a canoe ride along the Rapti River, providing excellent bird-watching opportunities and sightings of two rare crocodile species: the Marsh Mugger and the fish-eating Gharial, along with a jungle walk.
Lunch will be served around 13:00, followed by a Jeep Safari. This offers a great chance to see four types of deer, rhinoceros, wild boar, monkeys, leopards, sloth bears, and the Royal Bengal Tiger.
At 19:00, guests can enjoy another Tharu cultural dance presentation or a slideshow presentation, followed by dinner.
Departure from Chitwan to Kathmandu, Pokhara, or Lumbini
Chitwan District - At 06:00, a wake-up call will be followed by breakfast.
Bird watching will be available around 07:30 am. Departure from Chitwan is scheduled for 08:00 am, with a 5-6 hour journey to Kathmandu or a 4-hour trip to Pokhara.
