Amazing experience in the heart of the mangroves - We had an amazing time kayaking in the wild mangroves which is located near Al Khor. The location is in a secluded spot but all amenities are provided for us including tea, refreshments, toilets etc. The kayaking experience was very unique and over the course of 2-3 hours we were able to really appreciate the wild beauty of Qatar. Daniel (the kayaking instructor) was amazing and helped us understand how to kayak and was always there for us. The entire kayaking team was amazing and provided to us anything we needed- would thoroughly recommend!

Amazing Tour with Daniel!
Daniel was so knowledgeable about the mangroves and made the experience fun and engaging. He gave us plenty of time for photos and a refreshing swim at Purple Island. Highly recommend!

Beautiful adventure among the mangroves of purple Island - Kayaking adventure in the Mangrove Forest to Purple Island. Even with children a wonderful activity to do to appreciate this gulf of shallow and warm sea water that promotes the growth of the plant and its roots that sprout on the surface in search of water

Beautiful views and hospitality - Nadi and Nisad accommodated us for a beautiful sunrise experience. Nisad was great at guiding us through the mangroves and was very patient and neither of us had been in a kayak before. We came back to the camp cold and wet but Nadi had warm tea and coffee awaiting us. I’d definitely recommend!

Great guid, mangroves have to be seen ! - Peter is a great guid. Discovering the mangroves was amazing, especially there was only us and nobody else. It was calm and we enjoyed it a lot. Kayaking was fun. Peter explains well. We wish you the best !

A gem that needs better management - A great experience that would not have happened without the courtesy and hard work of our host Peter. He made us feel welcomed and didn't spare any efforts in the trip despite being the only person manning the camp and the group tours.
However, the camp needs to be renovated with more people to maintain it, the off road route is not suitable for all cars which is not clarified in the trip details. Also, we booked a trip at 6:00 am but the night before the trip I sent a message to confirm the site and I got a response that 6:00 am ia low tide you better come at 7:30. How would I know that change if I didn't send the message, communication with the trip agent needs to be proactive and timely.

Big trouble - Simply not been picked up, no one was available. Eternally looking for any numbers for nothing. That's not how you deal with customers, that's the very last thing!!Unfortunately not recommended !I'm eager for the refund, otherwise it will be handed over to the lawyer.

Extremely disappointed - They did not contact me before hand to confirm my pick up location. I tried to contact them on Viator contact support and received no answer. They were supposed to pick me up from my hotel for my activity and did not even bother showing up. What a waste of my limited time in Doha. I am extremely disappointed and will be requesting a full refund. Do not do this activity or trust this operator!

A hard night at the mangrove - We were excited as we saw many positive reviews. However, our trip was filled with problems: they started the 4pm (advertised time) at 6pm in complete darkness- at low tide while there was 20 miles an hour sustained winds. The water was so shallow that everyone’s kayak repeatedly became stuck on the sand. The group decided to abort efforts after an hour, stuck in sand. The owner was no where to be found when we returned to base. And to top it all off, the transport van had no gas- requiring us to wait 90 minutes before one of the guides returned with gas. There was no offer to partially refund as the owners were not there and made no attempt to contact us. The positive part of the night was our delightful guide who supported everyone throughout the night.
