- Devils Tower National Monument - Devils Tower is located in Wyoming. The Tower is a solitary, stump-shaped granite formation that looms above the tree-lined Belle Fourche River Valley. Once hidden below the earth’s surface, erosion has stripped away the softer rock layers, revealing the Tower.
The two-square-mile park surrounding the Tower was proclaimed the nation’s first national monument by President Theodore Roosevelt in 1906. The park is covered with pine forests, woodlands, and grasslands. While visiting the park, visitors are sure to see deer, prairie dogs, and other wildlife. The mountain’s markings are the basis for Native American legend. One legend tells of a giant bear clawing the grooves into the mountainside while chasing several young Indian maidens. Known by several northern plains tribes as Bears Lodge, it is a sacred site of worship for many American Indians. Devils Tower is also remembered for “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.”
The operator will be here for two hours, so guests may walk the Tower Trail if they wish.

Spearfish Canyon Scenic Byway - Spearfish Canyon offers a trip through the culture, nature, and history of the Black Hills. Abundant wildlife watching opportunities are found throughout the canyon, making it one of the best scenic byways in America.
Older than the Grand Canyon, it offers three waterfalls, 1,000-foot limestone and sandstone cliffs, four ecosystems, and a flowing mountain stream. The operator stops at Roughlock Falls to walk the short trails and view the cascading falls, offering great photo opportunities. - Bridal Veil Falls - Cascading approximately 60 feet, Bridal Veil Falls is the most accessible waterfall in the canyon. The Falls flows intensely in the spring and slows considerably in late summer and fall. It is located adjacent to a large parking lot to accommodate sightseers. An observation platform has been installed for optimal viewing and photos.
- Roughlock Falls State Nature Area - *Please Note - This location’s road is closed in the winter because of snow. Instead of picnicking here, the operator will lunch at Sundance, WY.
Roughlock Falls is widely praised for its beautiful scenery and is a popular spot for its easy-to-access waterfall and surrounding nature area. It has paved walkways, clear water with visible trout, and the unique cascading water over mossy rocks. It is considered the best of the Canyon’s waterfalls.
Here the operator will picnic (included) beside the stream and enjoy the beauty.
- Deadwood - Original Old West history . . . 1876 Gold Rush . . . and final resting place of infamous Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. (tour stop)
Today Deadwood looks much like it did in the 1880s. Cobblestone streets, brick and stone gambling casinos. Guests will have time to explore on their own many of the famous saloons and closed ‘Hospitality’ houses on Main Street.
- Deadwood Alive - If guests wish, they will have time to watch the historically accurate reenactments of Deadwood’s unusual gunfights and unbelievable affrays with Deadwood Alive.
Every two hours, four gunfighters shoot out and sling guns along the Old Main Street. Three times a day, six days a week. These are both entertaining and historic reenactments.
- Sturgis - The operator offers the option for a quick tour of the famous downtown Sturgis, home to the world’s oldest and largest motorcycle rally. Guests have time for photos and a quick stop to purchase a special t-shirt or hat.
