Langjokul Glacier and Ice Cave Tour - AMAZING - This tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Olle was an incredible guide. We had originally booked the snowmobile tour to the ice cave on the glacier, but the weather conditions made it unsafe to proceed. Instead, we traveled by monster truck (similar to a tundra buggy), and honestly, we’re so glad we went ahead with it. The staff handled the change wonderfully — they informed us by email in advance and gave us the option to cancel, which we appreciated. A tip for future visitors: dress in warm layers and wear thick socks. Even in late May, it was incredibly windy, snowy, and cold, and our legs and feet definitely felt it. The ice cave itself was spectacular, and we spent over an hour inside. One of the most memorable moments was when Olle (forgive me if I misspelled his name!) sang a song in the chapel area of the cave. The acoustics were unbelievable — it sounded like a full men’s choir echoing through the space. He turned off the lights so we could sit in complete darkness and fully experience the cave with our senses. It was unforgettable. This was an amazing experience, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Amazing hike, great guide, best views in Iceland! - This hike was the highlight of our trip! Vjeran was an excellent guide and has amazing driving skills! We got lucky with great weather and had plenty of time to hike the trail, take pictures, and bathe in the hot spring. We got back to Reykjavik in time for dinner which made it even better. Overall I think this was an excellent value and I would do this tour again.

It was so beautiful, you will enjoy even if you don’t like hiking - The national park was such a beautiful place, amazing decorations for a hike in a nice sunny day, the guide (croatian man) called V was entertaining and a friendly person, all was good but a bit pricey tho

A brilliant day out - A brilliant day. The drive out was fairly long (3 hours) but it was well worth it. The hike was of easy to moderate level made easier by brilliant weather finished off by a soak in the thermal river ( next time I’ll take flip flops or wet shoes).

Great hike with our guide Vjeran. - Had a great time on the hike. Vjeran was our tour guide and he did an awesome job. Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. We experienced awesome views of the mountains and the lava field. Very unique hike to take. The natural thermal bath at the end was perfect for relaxing after the hike. Highly recommend this to anyone who’s looking to see the majestic scenery Iceland has to offer.

Great and absolutly stunning outer worldly views. - Really enjoyed this hike. They split the group into groups of 15 people and 1 guide. The elevation gain is doable for most people. We hiked the track as desribed in the itenary, it depends on the weather. It was very windy but sunny so there was no problem going to the top of Brennisteinsalda. The scenes are absolutly stunning. I have seen many places in the world, but this one is one of my favourites. The colours are zo beautiful. The photos are exactly what you can expect to see. Afterwards we bathed in the natural spring which was an additional bonus. They picked as up in Hella which saved us a couple of hours driving.

For the gorgeous... - For the gorgeous landscape alone, the tour was worth it. Our planned 4 hours of hiking/on-site time ended up being extended to 6 hours due to an tour company operational issue. It would have been nice to have some activities to do during the extra two-hour wait.

Yeah. Without vegetation, it's like being on another planet. - Adding an extra stop in the middle of the bus route to take photos of volcanoes would have been a plus, as the windows of buses are not always clean, which is understandable. Not recommended for pregnant women and people with back pain. Otherwise it's great!
