- Seljalandsfoss - The journey begins with a convenient pick-up directly from your accommodation in Reykjavik!
The drive to the first destination takes approximately 2 hours. Seljalandsfoss is one of South Iceland’s most stunning waterfalls! Travelers adore it because you can walk behind the waterfall and enjoy the view from a small cave without getting too wet!
Remember to bring waterproof clothing!
- Skogafoss - What’s better than one waterfall? Two waterfalls!
A short 30-minute drive from Seljalandsfoss brings you to Skogafoss. This massive waterfall is perfect for capturing stunning photos. Standing at the base of this majestic waterfall, the sound is thunderous. Be prepared to get soaked if you venture too close!
For those who wish, you can climb the 370 steps at your own pace to the top of Skogafoss for a breathtaking view.
- Solheimajokull Glacier - Next, a 20-minute drive takes you to the most adventurous part of the trip, our beautiful glacier!
Upon arrival, a 20-minute walk from the parking area leads to the glacier’s spectacular tongue, where a safety briefing and gear-up session will take place. All necessary equipment is provided.
Then, embark on a glacier walk where your exciting exploration begins! This is a safe experience, guided by a qualified expert with extensive knowledge of glacial features like crevasses. The hike is relatively easy and suitable for almost everyone. At the glacier’s summit, you’ll experience the world like never before!
Afterward, return to the car to relax, enjoy Icelandic snacks provided, and savor a warm cup of coffee.
- Reynisfjara Beach - A 35-minute drive brings you to Reynisfjara, the Black Beach!
This is a beach like no other. Forget the typical soft, white sands of Boracay or Bali. In Iceland, the landscape is wild and dramatic. Storm-grey organ-shaped basalt columns, jet-black volcanic sand, sea stacks, and basalt caves are some of the features at Reynisfjara.
Be cautious of the waves and capture amazing photos!
Following this, the journey back to Reykjavík begins. It’s a 2 1/2 hour drive, but there’s no need to worry, as our guide ensures your comfort. Relax and get cozy in our warm and comfortable jeep. You’ll be dropped off right at your accommodation.
