Awesome experience, Manuel was amazing! - Our driver/guide was Manuel and he was amazing! He went above and beyond to accommodate everything we needed from water/towels to his incredible knowledge of the animals and history of Costa Rica! We saw many sloths, snakes, toucans, frogs and other wildlife, it was so exciting! The meal was fabulous and they were very accommodating for children/picky eaters. Manuel even went out of his way to ensure that the kids saw macaws on the drive home! We were never rushed and communication was awesome! Highly recommend this tour especially with Manuel as your guide.

An amazing day! - Great Day! Our driver/logistics man for the day was Minor. He was on time in a clean and comfortable van and a pleasure to be with. He started the day with a surprise side trip to a gorgeous waterfall/swim hole before bringing us to the sloths. Along the way he shared tons of interesting knowledge and answered numerous questions we bombarded him with about life in Costa Rica. Emmanuel was our guide at the sloth park and he was another win. He was able to show us 4 different sloths (one with her baby) and most incredibly, one that was climbing down the tree right to our level. The lunch served there was delicious. The coffee/chocolate tour was as great as the rest of the day as Diego taught us about the farming and production and even spent a few moments showing us the sugar cane side of things too. He was a pleasure to spend our afternoon with. 10 out of 10!

It was a great... - It was a great experience. Just be prepared to tip at each activity because they deserve it. The only thing I didn’t like was our driver to and from each thing. He had zero personality and was falling asleep on the way there and the way home.

Long drives but worth it - Plan on total drive time, collectively, 6 plus hours to/from Tamarindo. Loved the waterfalls, sloths, chocolate tour, coffee... all of it! Would do again.

We even saw a tapir! - This was a well-paced tour, lots of things happening, but never felt rushed. The chocolate and coffee tour was lively with a small but well-stocked gift store. I brought some home and the chocolates were all really good. The private reserve was very well-run and beautiful. None of it involved technical hiking. Reserve was like a nature walk and the waterfall was about five minutes on wide well-maintained stairs. Highly recommend!

Great tour, highlight of our trip! - If you only have time for one tour of Costa Rica, this is an excellent one to pick. We had a group of 6 so we had our own private group. From when we were picked up at the hotel to when we were dropped off it was about 7 hours, but in that time we got to see a ton of wildlife (including toucans and monkeys) a lot of the beautiful countryside, a great informational tour on coffee and chocolate, walked in a rainforest and saw sloths, went to a waterfall, and had an awesome lunch! We also learned a ton from our tour guide about Costa Rica in general, he did a great job and cannot recommend more!

A must do adventure! - Great experience! A lot of driving but worth every minute. Our guide/driver, Nesmel, was amazing putting extra care into our experience. We saw Toucans, sloths, frogs, owls, bats, monkeys and more. The waterfall was awesome! Nice lunch as well.

Manuel was a great guide... - Manuel was a great guide - very knowledgeable and experienced. Be prepared for tipping other guides within this tour. There were 2 other guides involved and we didn’t have a lot of cash to be tipping them all. There’s a lot of driving involved so it is a full day, even more than suggested based on our pickup destination.
