Debela peč - The adventure begins at the 1300m high Pokljuka plateau. The ascent starts with a trek through a magical winter forest, leading to a sprawling mountain pasture adorned with charming shepherd’s cottages.
After some time, the forest line will be left behind as the group reaches a mountain hut for a brief rest. The journey then continues…

After some time, the forest line will be left behind as the group reaches a mountain hut for a brief rest. The journey then continues on the snow-blanketed slopes of the mountain. In about two hours, the summit will be reached, revealing a breathtaking view that makes the climb worthwhile. The sight of the snow-covered Triglav, along with the surrounding mountains and valleys, is truly unforgettable.
On the return journey, there will be another stop at the mountain hut to enjoy a traditional Slovenian mountain lunch. For those seeking a genuine winter mountaineering adventure, this is the perfect opportunity to join in the mountains.
