Amazing winter hiking experience - Spending a lovely 2 days winter hiking in the Julian Alps. From the booking process to the activities the service was friendly and profession. Our guide Petra was fantastic and we made the most of both our days.

Amazing and genuine Julian Alps hike!! - My partner and I booked the “Winter hike in Julian alps” experience through Viator run by Altitude Activities in Bled. We had a small group of 4 including our tour guide, Alex. Alex made the experience incredibly easy and super super fun!! The hike itself was unbelievably stunning which included moderately thick snow for most of the hike (still after a few warm days) and views across the snow-capped Julian alps that were breathtakingly beautiful. We had a warm coffee half way up the hike in a mountain hut and a hit meal on the way down at the same hut (optional on both accounts) with really friendly and warm cabin staff which enhanced the experience even more! But I can’t speak highly enough of our guide, Alex, who gave us great hiking advice, stories and just genuinely loved doing the hike with us. It was so enjoyable that we forgot we were on a guided tour rather than a hike through the mountains with great friends!

Fantastic - Can't recommend enough - Thank you Matt & Sabrina - Awesome start to finish. Organising the trip over email was easy and their office staff are friendly and responsive. We were picked up promptly from our hotel where Matt (our v. friendly and v. experienced guide) made sure that we had all the right clothing and where we didn't, this was lent to us free of charge. The hike itself was fantastic and Matt went over and above what we expected. As were were ahead of schedule we climbed 3 additional peaks and the scenery was spectacular. Matt was taking photos along the way (again, free of charge) and explaining a good deal about the area and the lifestyle. All in all a fantastic day trip and I think I'll be back for Triglav soon!
