Into the Abyss: The Journey Begins

The thrill of the unknown has always been my siren call, and when I heard about the Extreme Caving Bled adventure, I knew it was a challenge I couldn’t resist. Nestled near the picturesque Lake Bled, the Babji zob cave promised an adrenaline-fueled journey into the depths of Slovenia’s hidden underground world. My fiancée and I, both seasoned adventurers, were eager to test our mettle against the ancient formations and mysterious caverns that lay beneath the Jelovica Plateau.

The adventure began with an hour-long trek through the dense, untouched wilderness of the Jelovica Plateau. Known as ‘the rainforest’ due to its untouched nature, the forest was a living testament to the power of nature.
