Lake Bohinj - The adventure starts above Lake Bohinj, heading towards Komna, a picturesque mountain hut offering stunning views of Lake Bohinj and a surrounding amphitheater of peaks.
During this 3-day trek, participants will explore the high Alpine landscape, featuring charming rolling hills and impressive peaks. The sunny, open trail provides breathtaking vistas as it winds above Lake Bohinj, passes Slovenia’s largest alpine lake, Lake Krn, and reaches the summit of Mt. Krn, standing at 2,244 meters, the tallest mountain in the Krn Mountains of the southwestern Julian Alps.
Krn Lake - After enjoying lunch, the journey continues to Lake Krn along a delightful and easy trail.

As a good portion of our hiking journey aligns with the extensive 500-km Walk of Peace, we’ll be exploring the history of World War I in the Slovenian Alps, gaining insights into the soldier’s battlegrounds and lifestyles, and viewing historical remnants en route.
Our expeditions are made in compact groups (typically consisting of 4-6 people), providing us with tremendous flexibility. We accommodate numerous breaks as needed, modify the group’s tempo, and adapt the itinerary as per the collective desire of the group.
