Ha Giang - Quan Ba Heaven Gate - Du Gia Waterfall (100km)
Quan Ba Heaven Gate - Following breakfast, the journey begins on the 4C highway, known as the “Road of Happiness,” with a photo opportunity at “Km0.” The route leads out of the city towards the North, ascending the Quan Ba mountain pass and entering the Dong Van Geopark. Travelers will reach the Heaven’s Gate and pass the Fairy Hills. Lunch is enjoyed in or near the quaint town of Tam Son. The adventure continues deep into the Ha Giang mountains, arriving at the charming village of Du Gia. Here, guests will stay with an ethnic minority family at their homestay, sharing dinner and breakfast with them.

Lung Tam Village - Post-lunch, a visit to Lung Tam village is planned. This village is renowned for its long-standing tradition of brocade weaving by the Hmong people on the Dong Van plateau in Ha Giang province.
Du Gia - Du Gia is a serene, lesser-known village in Ha Giang, primarily visited by those undertaking the Ha Giang loop over four days or more. The village is celebrated for its tranquil, untouched beauty, surrounded by majestic mountains and rice paddies. The local residents are notably welcoming and friendly.
Du Gia - Meo Vac - Nho Que River - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Dong Van Town (120km)
Nho Que River - After expressing gratitude to the homestay family, the journey continues north, traversing some of the most breathtaking mountain passes en route to Meo Vac, where lunch is served. A boat trip on the Nho Que River follows, passing through Tu San Abyss Alley and alongside the Ma Pi Leng mountains. The day concludes with a climb up the majestic Ma Pi Leng mountain pass and check-in at a homestay. Guests have free time to relax or explore the Old Hmong village to learn more about local life. Dinner and overnight stay at the homestay.

Ma Pi Leng Pass - The Ma Pi Leng pass is Vietnam’s most awe-inspiring mountain pass, standing at 1,500 meters. It connects Dong Van and Meo Vac, two cities in Vietnam’s far north, near the Chinese border. Known as “The Happiness Road,” this asphalted national road 4C was constructed in the 1960s by numerous workers, mainly ethnic minorities, taking 11 years to complete. Dubbed the King of Vietnamese mountain passes, it features cliffs, abysses, and numerous hairpin bends. The road offers a romantic, breathtaking landscape perfect for motorcycling, resembling a fairy tale scene.
Dong Van - After dinner, a stroll to Dong Van Ancient Town is planned, where guests can enjoy traditional music and cultural exchanges with local Hmong people.
Dong Van - Lung Cu - Hmong King Place - Yen Minh Town (120km)
Lung Cu Flag Tower - The Lung Cu flag tower stands 33 meters high, with a 54 square meter flag at Vietnam’s northernmost point in Ha Giang province.
Dinh Vua Meo - Upon reaching Sa Phin, visitors can explore the century-old palace of Vuong Chinh Duc, the King of the H’mong people.
Yen Minh - Yen Minh is a small town in northern Vietnam, often included in the itineraries of tourists exploring the country’s northeast.
Yen Minh - Lung Khuy Cave - Ha Giang City (100km)
Lung Khuy Cave - After breakfast, guests can enjoy village life, take a walk around the village, and possibly visit the local waterfall. The exploration of Lung Khuy cave follows. Lunch is taken in Tam Son, after which a beautiful side-loop connects back to the Road of Happiness, leading back to the base in Ha Giang city, where the bus to Hanoi awaits. Tour concludes.
