Ha Giang- Heaven Gate - Nam Dam - Quan Ba- Yen Minh- Dong Van

Quan Ba Heaven Gate - At 8 AM, our Ha Giang Easy Rider Team will pick you up from your hotel, hostel, homestay, or bus station, or you can start from our office in Ha Giang.

8:15 AM: We begin our journey, riding uphill to Pac Sum Pass with its 20 snake-like turns leading to a panoramic view of the landscape and valley, where you can see hidden villages of ethnic minority groups. Our tour continues to the Heaven Gate in Tam Son, over 1200 meters above sea level, offering spectacular views of limestone mountains and deep valleys. We then ride to a viewpoint to see the Twins Hill and visit Nam Dam, a clay house village inhabited by the Dao ethnic minority. Here, you’ll learn about local culture and architecture, spend around 2.5 hours exploring the village, and hike to visit a cave.

Quan Ba - After lunch, we continue riding up and down to see amazing valleys and villages, with spectacular views of mountains, rivers, and lakes. This unique experience is exclusive to our Ha Giang Motorbike Tours. We then visit a family making handicrafts and weaving clothes, before riding along the river to Yen Minh, where we stay overnight. On the way, we pass many back roads unknown to most tourists, offering views of spectacular landscapes and secret villages. We stop at the loop top road for a valley overview before arriving in Yen Minh Town to stay at a homestay and enjoy dinner.

Yen Minh - Hmong King Palace - Lung Cu Flag Pole - Thien Huong Village - Stay Overnight in Dong Van

Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark - After breakfast, we start our excursion, driving for about an hour to visit the Hmong King Palace, then up to the Vietnam loop to Lung Cu Flag Pole, where you can see the border area between Vietnam and China. The views from the flag pole or observation point are splendid. We continue riding to see the most beautiful pass and the most winding road in the world, stopping at various points for photos and visits to rock mountain villages like Lo Lo Chai Village. We have lunch at a local restaurant at 12:30 PM.

Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark - After lunch, we continue to Dong Van town, arriving at our homestay after an hour’s drive. After checking in and relaxing, we visit the ancient village of Thien Huong at 3 PM, where you can see the Nho Que river and the valley separating Vietnam from China.

Dong Van - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Meo Vac - Mau Due - Duong Thuong - Du Gia Village

Ma Pi Leng Pass - After breakfast, we leave Dong Van Town, riding to see the most beautiful part of the journey: Ma Pi Leng Pass, located on the Happiness Road connecting Dong Van and Meo Vac. Known for its craggy cliffs and breathtaking views, Ma Pi Leng Pass is often called the “king” of Vietnam’s passes. The road winds through cliffs and overcomes the pass at an altitude of 2,000 meters. We ride down the Sky Path to admire the valley and Nho Que river, offering a 360° view and unforgettable photo opportunities. Standing on the peak, you’ll be overwhelmed by the majestic mountains and rivers.

Du Gia - We continue to more distant villages, driving through Lung Ho, Mau Due, and Meo Vac, where we stop for lunch and drinks. From Meo Vac Town, we continue through the mountainous trail area of Ha Giang province to Du Gia Village, home to seven ethnic minorities. You’ll see a colorful village rich in culture, where we stay overnight at a homestay with a Tay Minority Family, enjoying dinner and happy water with the family.

Du Gia - Duong Thuong - Thai An - Quan Ba - Ha Giang

Ha Giang - Today, we take an easy downhill ride back to Ha Giang city. On the way, the guide can arrange a visit to Lung Tam, a famous village for hemp weaving and indigo dyeing. Here, you can see a local club of H’Mong women demonstrating their handmade crafts. We will ensure you return to Ha Giang in time for your bus or limousine departure, whether it’s at 3 PM or later.
