With a sheer drop on one side and cliffs ascending into the clouds on the other, it seemed as if a divine hand had drawn a line across the rugged terrain. From the mountain pass’s summit, we gazed down upon a vast valley of endless terraced fields, exuding a charming beauty akin to a paradise faintly visible through the clouds. They blanket the ground in a mosaic of yellow rice, green shoots, and brown mountain earth, with small houses nestled in between.
