DAY 1: HÀ GIANG - QUẢN BẠ - LAO XA (H’MONG VILLAGE)

Quan Ba Heaven Gate - Morning:

At 7:00 am, guests will be picked up from their accommodation in Ha Giang city and enjoy breakfast at a renowned restaurant with over 40 years of history, featuring the specialty “Village duck noodle soup.”

The journey to the Stone Plateau then begins. Along the way, there will be stops at notable tourist spots such as Heaven Gate, Double Mountain, and Tham Ma Slope. A special visit to Lao Xa village, one of the most picturesque Hmong villages, will showcase its untouched beauty and cultural heritage.

Nhà Cổ Lao Xa Homestay hmong - Noon:
Savor a family meal with locals, experiencing unique H’Mong dishes like “mèn mén,” “tẩu chúa,” and dried pork from the upstairs kitchen.

Afternoon:
Explore Lao Xa village, where visitors can:

• Discover life in the rocky area: Witness and hear the sounds of the rocky mountains and the vibrant life there. Gain insight into the Vietnamese saying “There is no mountain higher than the knees of the Hmong” and “Live on the rock, die under the rock.” These stories reveal the “extraordinary energy” of the ethnic community.
• Learn about the traditional Hmong craft of silver carving.

Evening:
Relax, engage in cultural exchanges with locals, enjoy local tea, and dine with the host’s family. Then, delight in:

• Listening to ethnic melodies through traditional Hmong musical instruments such as the Khèn Mong, flute, and lip lute, along with cultural and historical stories behind these tunes.

DAY 2: LAO XA VILLAGE - MA PI LENG PASS - H’MONG KING PALACE - LUNG TAM LINEN VILLAGE - NẶM ĐĂM (DAO VILLAGE)

Ma Pi Leng Pass - Morning:

At 7:00 am, breakfast is served at the homestay, followed by a drive to Ma Pi Leng pass, one of Vietnam’s four most stunning peaks.

Along the way, admire the natural beauty of Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark. Upon reaching Ma Pi Leng pass, experience:

• Trekking half of the walking route (approximately 7km) on the pass to explore the panoramic views of Ma Pi Leng, Nho Que river, and the Hmong village perched on the rocky mountain.

• With some luck, witness the sea of clouds or the surreal sunset, offering the most breathtaking and picturesque views not to be missed!

Lung Tam Linen Cooperative - Noon: Lunch in Meo Vac town.

Afternoon:

On the journey to the Dao ethnic community (Nam Dam village), approximately 100km away, stops include:

• Vuong Palace - The residence of the “Vua Meo,” the H’mong ethnic king, who once governed this land and prospered by selling opium, exporting about 20 tons annually to China, France, Hong Kong, Macau, and more.

• Lung Tam linen village - Discover and experience the creation of handmade linen, a product considered an “heirloom” of the H’Mong people.

Nậm Đăm - Next, visit the community tourism village of the Dao people, Nam Dam. This is one of Ha Giang’s most beautiful Dao villages, where 100% of the traditional house architecture and unique costumes are preserved. Visitors can:

• Stroll around the village, visit the museum, and learn about how the Dao people construct their homes and understand their traditional cultures.

Afternoon: Explore the village, one of the most beautiful Tay villages in Ha Giang, preserving 100% of its stilt houses with palm leaf roofs amidst terraced fields. The unique traditions and culture are impressive. Visitors can:

• Admire the terraced fields alongside stilt houses and majestic mountains.
