contemplation and glimpse in the cable car ride - I was quite impressed with the view I had of the city of Quito from the Teleférico. The existing park at the top and the opportunity to make the trail is an unforgettable walk. The difficulty level is small. You have to be careful because of the altitude, in addition to that relative to the city, that of the top of the cable car.

Very well organized and just what I expected - I have contacted Latin Adventures on a very short notice: just a couple of days before the arrival. Dante responded quickly. I wanted to join some group since i was travelling solo but they had no groups on that day so LA made some adjustments just for me. The guide was super knowledge and flexible. I really enjoyed the hike on a beautiful day and a historic tour of the old city. I highly recommend Latin Adventures.

This tour was amazing! The tour... -
This tour was amazing! The tour guide Omar was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was very patient with us when climbing the Andes mountains, I wore too many sweaters which made the tour more difficult. The climb is difficult but well worth it, the views are amazing! We filmed and took many photos. After the climb Omar took us to a delicious restaurant, then after we ate he took us to a walking tour. Omar explained to us about the history of Quito. Please tip him!

Overpriced and could have done tour on our own - We thought this tour would give us a variety of experiences. We asked for a group tour but ended up being just my husband and I and the tour leader. He drove us to the Teleferico cable car and we went to the top. While it was a great view of the city, we could have easily taken a bus to the cable care entrance ourselves. We were excited to do a "volcano hike", which ended up to be a slow uphill walk through barren landscape. After walking about 45 minutes, the leader explained if we wanted to go to the top of the volcano, it is an 8 hour round trip hike. He'd scheduled 3 hours to walk up a ways and then come back. I was bored from walking because there wasn't anything to see, so we left early. Then he took us on a walking tour of downtown Quito, but again, it was something we could have done on our own. He covered the main churches around the historical part of the city. The whole tour seemed overpriced for what we did. There was no volcano hike and anyone can walk around the historical part of Quito with a map and get the same experience.
