- Canon del Rio Toachi - This stunning canyon is a popular tourist destination due to its scenic beauty, unique geological formations, and the opportunity for various outdoor activities.
-
Sendero al Fondo del Crater - One of the most popular activities in Quilotoa is walking around the crater. There is an approximately 9 kilometer trail that takes you to the edge of the crater and allows you to enjoy impressive panoramic views. The hike can be challenging due to the altitude, but it is a rewarding experience.
If you want to experience the lagoon in a unique way, you can rent kayaks or take boat rides to explore its waters from a different perspective.

Worth it! - Quilotoa is a must see when visiting Ecuador! Going down was super easy a bit steep, but man hiking back up to the parking lot was killer! Be mentally prepared if you go all the way down to the lake. If you choose not to the views were just as great at the top or halfway. I paid $10 for mule ride back up, but felt so bad the mule and person handling the mule were sooo tired. It gets quite hot! I wouldn't change a thing I did though!

Fantastic and full day! - Victor was a phenomenal guide! It was really cool to see the indigenous community. The hike down Quilotoa lake was fun and not bad, but the hike up was so hard! But totally worth it. It was a great trip overall!

A very very nice tour to quilotoa - The tour was very nice. The tour guides took us to nice pla es and we were able to enjoy nice sites because of them. We felt very safe the entire time. I may do this again on my own time, but with a different group of friends and family.

Great tour! Would recommend - I had a lot of fun doing the stops along the way to quilotoa. And quilotoa itself is beautiful. I would recommend bringing good shoes and some sort of dust protectant (buff). The trail is dusty and slippery. The only one thing I would say is that I booked my trip through my hostel and it was very unclear where the pickup was. I showed up early to the plaza and no one else was there and I had no idea where to go. This might be poor communication from the hostel and not the travel company.
Victor was a fabulous guide!! He made the tour wonderful!

An unforgettable experience - I went to Quilotoa for the first time on this tour, and it was a wonderful time—including incomparable views, multiple things to do, different meals, and above all, a charismatic, intelligent and interactive guide who orchestrated and explained everything along the way. I recommend it to anyone who wants to know the Quilotoa lagoon and the histories, cultural elements and much more that make it so special.

Must do - The trip to Quilatoa was overall a great experience. David our guide was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. The stop at the local marketta and community were very interesting. Lunch was delicious.
Fabulous day out.
