Worldwide - Daniel was our private guide and it was an extraordinary adventure. Knowledge in the culture, history, economy, of Ecuador is an A plus. We visited Half the World, Intiñan Museum and the Cable Car and it was worth it. A lot of history and beautiful photos of the landscape, made a great experience of this trip.

Equator - This tour was an excellent introduction to my Ecuador trip. The journey began with a comfortable drive to the equatorial site, where a knowledgeable guide provided an insightful explanation about the significance of latitude and longitude at the equator. Following the guided session, we had ample time to explore the equator line independently, capturing memorable photos and browsing local shops. The experience concluded with the bus returning to pick us up, making for a seamless and enriching excursion.

This is a must do tour - The museum was really interesting with multiple guides taking you through the interactive displays. The center of the world monument was okay too and the museum inside the monument was a surprise. We didn’t really explore the village too much. But we really really enjoyed the Casa Agave visit. It was so much better than expected and fun.

Great 1st experience in Quito!! - Out Tour Guide Irene was the best! Her enthusiasm and love of Quito and Ecuador was contagious. She shared many insights and answers to our many questions as we visited each of the sights. Our driver Ivan was as also very accommodating. This was our first full day in Ecuador and was a great 1st impression!

Loud, abrasive microphone - I thought the museum part was very interesting and the guide’s English was very good. The big equator monument was also enjoyable. We skipped the agave part (had already done something similar). The guide’s microphone on the bus was terrible. Very loud and not clear…could not make out what he was saying because of the microphone.

Bus ride made me sick. - Awful. Was literally thrown around in my seat by an incompetent driver. Was able to see the road surface and it was fine. We pulled up to Mitad del Mundo and the tour guide said “oh no, we’re just picking up other passengers and leaving for the crater.” I left then and there and paid $20 for a taxi home, after seeing the monument. The new passengers? A couple from my own hotel that took the earlier tour. Also I asked the ticket agent if I could eat on the bus. “No.” Then turned the corner to see the driver eating inside the bus. Do better.

Bus never came to pickup spot - The pick up instructions were sketchy at best. It was only an 'address' for a bus stop. I looked up the address on Google Maps before I left the hotel so that I would recognize the location when I got to it. I showed the driver the address given. He drove me there. Once there, I double checked with a lady who worked at a nearby restaurant and she indicated the bus stop, according to the address. I was there a half hour early and stayed half an hour after the pickup time. The only buses that appeared were the blue city buses. I requested a refund and was given one, but missed out on the chance of a lifetime with this tour. Disappointing doesn't begin to describe my feelings regarding this missed opportunity.
