• Bulevar Naciones Unidas - At 2:30 PM, participants will gather at United Nations Boulevard (170102 Quito, Ecuador) to board a bus and commence the activity.

Following this, the group will proceed to the “Ciudad Mitad del Mundo,” where a brief tour of the monument that separates the northern and southern hemispheres will take place.

This landmark was constructed in the 18th century when the French scientific expedition identified the Equatorial line, dividing the world into two equal halves. It is a must-visit for anyone in Quito.

At the center of the world, participants will experience phenomena that challenge the laws of physics, unique to this location. After the visit, there will be an opportunity to stamp passports with the distinctive “From the Center of the Planet” stamp.

Once the activity concludes, the group will return to the starting point.
