A great connection to nature and wildlife. - We really enjoyed our time with Mateo and the wonderful connection he facilities to nature and wildlife in the region. He was knowledgeable, personable and professional. The tour was well paced as well.

Exceptional tour! - We spent our first full day in Equador on this tour with Matteo. It was a fantastic kickoff for our vacation! It was a nice mix of time viewing the countryside from the car and stopping for our visits. The highlight for us was the bird sanctuary. It was the experience of a lifetime seeing exotic birds and having hummingbirds alight on our fingers. Matteo was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and exemplified customer service. He clearly enjoyed sharing his love of nature with us. He was a great driver though the winding roads. Don’t hesitate to book this tour. Truly an experience we will never forget!

Exceptional Wildlife Tour with an Amazing Guide - This was honestly one of the most extraordinary wildlife experiences I’ve ever had.
Our guide, Andrés, was exceptionally insightful, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire day. What I appreciated most was his flexibility — nothing felt rushed. If I wanted to spend extra time observing birds, photographing hummingbirds, or simply enjoying the forest, that was never a problem.
And the wildlife was absolutely unbelievable.
We saw more than 10 species of hummingbirds in a single day, often from extremely close distances. Almost all of them even landed on my arm while I was holding a feeder, which was an unforgettable experience. Beyond that, we encountered dozens of other bird species, including THREE species of toucans, which I understand is very rare to see during one tour. Andrés was incredibly sharp at spotting wildlife that I would have completely missed on my own.
One of the most magical moments was finding tiny miniature frogs smaller than a fingernail hidden in the vegetation. The cloud forest is simply full of life everywhere you look.
If you love biodiversity, birds, photography, or nature in general, I cannot recommend this tour enough.

Excellent, highly recommended - Absolutely amazing! Mateo was a great guide. It was easy to book, easy communication with organiser. Mateo turned up early for pick up but didn’t mind waiting. He was very knowledgeable about the area and clear about the plan. We had an amazing time walking to the waterfall and then seeing the hummingbirds and butterflies. Well worth the money

Amazing Mindo Experience with Andreas - Our guide was very nice and informative. We saw more than a dozen toucans, many humming birds and butterflies. The hummingbirds landed on our hands and drank from little cups. We saw 25 species of hummingbirds that were many colors. It was an amazing experience!
Lunch was very tasty and the cacao wine was also delicious.

Special day trip to Mindo - We had a fab trip and were brilliantly looked after by Andres and Charlie. Andres, as the guide, was a enthusiastic and knowledgeable communicator and made sure that we got the best out of the day without any time pressures…all of the stops were amazing but the trek and the hummingbirds were the highlights. We’d highly recommend

Great private tour! - Andres and Mateo were excellent tour guides. Full of knowledge. Was great they customized the tour to our liking. We enjoyed the longer hike to an amazing waterfall, spent time with 30 species of hummingbirds and visited a very cool butterfly sanctuary. All three places were the only tourist. Very private and intimate. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch of high quality local cuisine.

A visit to cloud paradise! - With so much to see and so little time, we had fantastic direction from our guide Ines. She put us on to the cloud forest day tour where we were picked up promptly by David(in his brand new vehicle- spotless). We were joined by a student guide- Mateo. Between the two of them we were afforded soooo much information. They shared history and culture and nature and politics. So helpful to better understand the Ecuadorian people and the passion they share for this beautiful country.
We had all the choices on what to see and David and Mateo were able to guide us to see all the highlights in a day!
Waterfalls, frogs, lizards and birds—- so many birds my wife loves hummingbirds and they were feeding from a small cap out of her hand. Dozens of species and so many in such a small area.
We loved Mindo the town is quaint and has a real laid back vibe.
We then had a chocolate experience at. The Mindo Maya was remarkable and learning about the entire process and the quality of beans- but as much the fruit and tea and chocolate processes.
We absolutely loved the trip the drive was about 2 hours but with all the information, scenery and perfectly timed breaks it went wonderfully.

Round trip Ecuador - Andrés was the perfect tour guide with his knowledge and always courteous nature. The accommodations were very well chosen. Country and people surprised us very positively. Ecuador is a worthwhile destination.
