Tena - Located near Tena city, the Jumandy Caves are a fascinating tourist complex featuring petroglyph inscriptions from the ancient Quijos civilization. Jumandy, which means ‘wise man’, was a chief honored as a national hero in 2011 for his resistance against Spanish rule.
