- Nevado Ausangate - The Ausangate and Rainbow Mountain trek is an exciting new route situated in the high Andes, passing through the stunningly colorful Vinicunca, also known as Rainbow Mountains. This picturesque multi-day hike is nestled in a secluded part of the Vilcanota Mountain range. Surrounded by glacial peaks, the trek follows the path beneath Ausangate, the tallest mountain in the Cusco Region, standing at 6,300 meters (21,000 feet). This majestic peak, the highest in southern Peru, has been revered as sacred for centuries by the ancient Andean people.
